If he doesn't go to RM, I bet Chelsea come back in for him, Roman collects creative midfielders like we used to collect right backs.

As for the new JJ Fryers ITK, I thought that was always the case? The tribunal will decide a value for the player and then that's what we have to pay to Utd. Isn't he even training with us already??

The Chavs may well come back in for him but I'd be truly amazed if Levy sold to that Russian mafia money-launderer.

You're right, I guess it was someone who didn't know this that was asking.

For me the best option is still Luka staying. Won't take long for him to get back on with it and stop complaining. A midifeld of him, sandro and Sig or parker is the best we can hope for. Woul d be immense.

We'd all prefer that if he does leave, he goes abroad. But earlier in the season it was made clear that whoever comes up with the biggest acceptable offer can have him. Considering Roman's treating the FFP rules as something he doesn't have to comply with, I wouldn't put it past them wading in

I recall some posts between Rob and JJ a couple of weeks ago. They had been exchanging PMs about various news and JJ mentioned someone along the lines of ITKs being a couple of weeks behind the news. Perhaps Ben's Sahin news is exactly this - late. Coupled with JJ mentioning the big collapsed RM loan deal, I think this was Sahin and it's just come through regular ITK channels now.

That's my take anyway.

I can't envisage AVB preferring Huddlestone and Livermore in the middle over Sahin.

Its no surprise that Madrid aren't that desperate for Modric. They will take him if they can get him at a good price, but will not be breaking the bank for him, or paying over the odds/our odds. To be honest, when I first heard the Madrid/Modric rumours all those months back, I didn't believe them. Madrid are hardly in desperate need of him....

Fryers played last night for the Development squad in Portugal, so he is very definitely at Spurs

It wouldn't surprise me. Compared to his glory days BEN posts very rarely, and the information just doesn't seem to be of the same calibre.

He can't play first team games until the tribunal fee is agreed, the Dev squad often features guys on trial. Fryers will officially be a Spurs player once the fee is agreed. That makes the Mirror's story about Spurs wanting a LB a bit odd, as he is a few days away from being confirmed.
