- Vertonghen said in July he was happy at the club/in London and he looked forward playing under Poch.
- he showed on Saturday his head is right. He looked very motivated out there.
- several ITK's confirmed he signed a new deal, which is a powerful signal of intent.
- as far as I know, there has been no ITK on him to Utd.
- why would we sell one of our best players, to a direct rival nowadays, anyway? And with so few days of the window left!
- and then we would go all out for Musacchio again, a complicated deal confirmed dead by ITK? No way.

Let's not do it to ourselves. He'll be with us Sept 2nd imho.

On verts don't think levy will sell to another prem club look at modric took 20 mill less so he played in a different league.

On the possibility of new owners don't think Lewis and levy will sell to someone who will mess us about it will be someone who they think can take the club futher than what they believe they can.

I'd be fuming if we sold Verts to Utd.

I've understood the previous sales to them; players have moved to a bigger club with CL footy, however that is NOT the case now.

There's a place up for grabs in that top 4. We SHOULD NOT strengthen ANY of our rivals.

Like Bale, if he wants to go he can go abroad.

He shouldn't be going anywhere. Period. Not at the end of the window, completely undermining all the work we've done to improve our defence this window.

I doubt Verts is going Man U right now. They are a bigger club but right now they are a mess and would be a dangerous time to go there. Who knows how long it will take to stop the rot. Hopefully years

As for selling the club, judging by how much trouble it is to negotiating with Levy for an average footballer, could you imagine how long it would take to buy a club from him!!! He would value the tea lady at a 1million quid!!
