And the donation to SC ;-)
You forgot to factor in the cups of coffee to stay awake with to monitor the signing (when they happen) x amount of days/weeks/months after the ITK comes out
And the donation to SC ;-)
It's a good job I decided in February not look at SC ITK this summer.
No you're not.
Great um roundup A&C but let's hope for some real ITK today so this thread isn't packed with crap...OK wishful thinking.
Grr why not your not nice!!!
English transfer window opens the day after the end of the season according to the FA rules and regulations. Many other European countries don't open until July 1st. So in theory we could register the paperwork for a player from within England, but couldn't register the paperwork for a player who is in a country where the window is still closed.
As I posted the other day, Isn't it pretty academic? It's just an agreement between two clubs and a player that matters. The registering at the relevant football authority is a requirement for formalising the move for playing in that league. I thought the announcement in April showed us this - his registration occurred much later.
I actually think we'll get 1-2 bits of substantial early business done. Given a painful summer of ManUSA/Chelski being linked with our best players via the clown-press I think Levy will be wanting to "prove ambition" just in case that becomes an issue.

I think its about time we started putting bids in for Rodney, vidic, luiz etc
12 weeks of the transfer window, multiplied by 7 days a week = 84 days.
Average of 5 ITK updates a day = 420 ITK updates.
Salt needed for 1 ITK update: 0.25kg
Salt needed for entire window: 120kg's
I had 30kg's and there's been 62 updates (worth 15.5kg's), so that leaves my stack for the window at 14.5kg's. So I need to buy 105.5kg's of salt, 89 replacement F5 buttons and a great big shed to put it all in.
Boy this window's gonna cost me.
Usually 1 cup of coffee lasts me 3 hours in terms of staying awake. 250g (usual Jacobs coffee pack) lasts around 30 cups. 1 Jacobs coffee pack is £2.80 (I think).
I'm going to need coffee from around 11PM onwards till about 4AM. That's about 3 cups. So 3 cups a night. Plus the need for 2 in the morning after a heavy night of SC browsing, so about 5.
84 days multiplied by 5 cups a SC day, 420 cups of coffee will be consumed by moi over the silly season. That's 14 packages of Jacobs at £2.80 = £39.20.
Small change in comparison to the lorryload of salt I need really.
"Tottenham are set to announce the signing of Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Friedel on a two-year deal to replace the error-prone Heurelho Gomes as the club's number one for next season."
From BBC Gossip page - but taken from the Daily Mail so dimispur may need to double his Salt intake with this one!
You don't need salt when reading anything from the Daily Mail.
You need a shovel.
