Would be an incredible window if we pulled that off. JJ seems confident that business will be done which is positive

Morning all, looks like we're in for a rollercoaster last 2 days, hopefully with more highs than lows. Some good info from JJ, Hercules, grey fox and Gard's last few days, a nice early appearance from igi today (and tomorrow, probably not so early tomorrow) would certainly settle the nerves a bit.

Really hoping for aurier and Foyth today, and that Barkley's injury isn't so severe that it puts us off him. As long as the mystery player has a bit of pace I'd be happy, young prospect or a player coming into his prime, I have full faith in poch and his team to make it work

£40k wages offered or the difference between their offer and ours was £40k? if we offered the former then no wonder he was pissed off . Maybe there is still something in the Vinny stuff. We're also told they want 3 players by the press.

Yesterday he said he was feeling "calm and hopeful" about the end of the window.

This morning some fake ITK said that 'levy isnt backing poch and poch isnt happy' and JJ replied that they were "talking shit".

He also replied to another negative comment with "Wait 2 days till the window closes as you don't know what's happening"

ITK:
Foyth - Done, waiting to announce. "Quotes" from player seem to corroborate this.

Aurier - Positive outcome on WP expected/completed. Visa being final hurdle to signing, expect announcement in next 48 hours.

Sancho - We want, he wants, City playing hardball. Doubts as to whether or not he'd be a first teamer vs u23 player. Doubts as to whether or we can get this done before 23h00 tomorrow.

Barkley - Always expected to go to the wire. Is going to the wire. Player injury (various reports on severity thereof) impacting price/desire to sign immediately. We want, he seems to want, ITK confident an agreement will be reached.

Sessegnon - Player "signed new contract to help his club". We thought it was dead, may be (but not necessarily) "the previously dead deal coming back to life". We seem to want, seems player open to move, ITK not concrete either way, more likely for another window.

Mystery player - we haven't mentioned his name yet apparently, possibly the "(pacey/wide)-forward" we are all dying for, but I don't advocate a guessing game at all for the sake of the mods, and everyone else reading. Various "expect-something-big" type crumbs falling from different ITKs so a slim chance of some kind of "gamechanger" signing.

Massive thanks to Hercules for bursting on to the scene like a champ, but also the old legends Gards, Grey Fox, Ali Z and JJ etc. Excellent stream for us this window. For their sake, and the admins, lets keep the chat in here kosher for 48 hours, use the other forums where appropriate, dig around for a spare tenner to throw in the pot at 23h00 tomorrow, and hope for the best. We could do with a couple of 'we are glad to announce' from Spurs official, just to keep the natives appeased. Whilst so many remain outstanding, it looks like too big a task, and just asking for 'we tried but just couldn't get it done in the time we had'. Whereas, Foyth and Aurier announced this morning suddenly it looks a brighter, more achievable target left to work on.

We pretty much know Foyth is done, plus Hercules seemed quite (almost knowingly) confident last night on Aurier. I'd assume Barkley is just haggling over fee still, but Everton need to sell, so probably just finding a mutual price, maybe lowered since his injury. Beyond that, possibly a left field project pacy forward (this year's Njie or Nkoudou), which I'd be happy enough with, keep digging it that pool and one should eventually be a Dembele rather than Njie. Hercules has praised Hitchen big time in previous posts, and his area of expertise is French football, so maybe a hint of what to expect. Probably easier to get over the line a project signing that a bigger name.
