KJH Shite?

Sone fucking tosh spouted here. VdV was hardly setting the world alight at Real, KJH has hardly had many chances at the bigger clubs, he's a goal poacher. A player that 'shit' last season could have had us top 3. He didn't do well for Schalke? Who exactly did do well for them last season?!

A year ago I would've said that Benzema would be far more likely than Higuaín, but now I reckon the tables have turned. Benzema really grew into the striking position last season, and is a purchase that the current president is desperate to see come good.

Higuaín is an equally good striker, maybe even better, but he is a purchase from a previous regime, and I have always felt that he would be afforded far less leeway in terms of poor performances or poor form, before getting binned. The president is looking for a way to marginalize him in favour of Benzema.

Now that Benzema has come good, and improved drastically, if Mourinho is faced with losing one of them, to get Adebayor and another in, then it would most likely end up being Higuaín.

Whether we could ever pursuade Higuaín to come is a different matter. I just can't see it.

Harry has a reputation for bringing the best out of players, even if some people have written them off. So maybe KJH and Harrys Spurs would be a perfect marriage. Looking through his Wiki page a quote from Louis Van Gaal stands out (I am aware of the dangers of basing my arguement on Wikipedia but I will plod on anyaway!)

"Former Netherlands, FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager Louis van Gaal has been quoted saying about the player "in the penalty area, he is the best player in the world, bar none."[1]

Isn't that exactly what we needed last year, someone deadly in the box? We created so many chances and our current strikers just couldn't finish the moves on a regular basis. So maybe a rejuvenated KJH having his hand held by Harry and being fed by VDV, Bale, Modric and Lennon might be just what we need?

He is 27 so approaching what many consider the be the prime years for a striker so maybe, just maybe at the right price it could be a good bit of business. In my eyes better trying something new than perserving with something that didn't work last year.

Not a chance. Higuain is a machine. He scores so many goals its unreal.

Mourinho does not like Benzema at all and it would be a no brainer for me that mow Mourinho is actually in control of incomings and outgoings that he will look to offload Benzema and bring in his own replacments
Then watch Arsenal, Man U and even Liverpool...Don't disregard PSG.
although we have a good relationship with RM...So...

Mourinho wants Neymar but may have to wait till January.
He may settle to loan Adebayor until January and as he gets Neymar then Adebayor is available.

Like Darren Bent, like Keane, like Gio, like Bentley. For some it works, others not.

Huntelaar's past it. Made out to be good in an average league, found out when he moved.

RM fans absolutely love Higuain, he's not going anywhere. They would riot if he were sold.

Diarra deal is most likely being held up untill we sell players because we got no cash...Harry's said it himself, that we need to sell before we buy. Just makes you wonder where all our cash from CL went....im thinking lawyers for a certain stadium in east london
No one has ever said we don't have the cash .
You only have to look at our accounts to realize that.
What we don't have is the space on our roster for another large wage earner.
We need to get rid of players not only to make the space bit also to rid ourselves of the massive wages the deadwood is costing us.
That is very different to not having the cash.

I have seen a few people post this about our relationship with Real Madrid, where has this notion of us having a really good relationship with RM come from?

"I need to sell four or five players to bring in funds.
"The chairman has made it clear we need to move a few players before we can start doing any business.
"I keep seeing us linked with this player and that, but unless we reduce our squad numbers we will stay quiet in the market."

VdV being offered to us. It does seem like we have a decent relationship anyway.

It's hardly a massive logical jump either, we're exactly the sort of side Madrid would look to build bridges with - big enough to own the quality of player they would look to buy, not big enough to put up much of a fight if they actually bid for someone.

and if we keep looking to squeeze every last penny out of players who havn't performed that well in recent times where does that leave our transfer plans for this summer Eek

Obviously Levy doesn't like to make big losses on players like Bentley, but the fact is the biggest loss will be made on them if we fail to sell them at all, as they are worthless to our current squad.
