Joe Cole has had a storming season with lille, not a bad player at all. better than kranky imo and so a good back-up to the wingers....

I despair at the fracas this information will cause though....

My sauce has been to watch him loads this season and reckons he could do just as good if not a better job than vdV does for us

Would be cheap to buy, wouldn't demand substantial wages after a season in France I wouldn't have thought, better than kranky and a good alternative. Wouldn't cry a river if it happened and we shifted jenas, kranky and Bentley.

Rio and joe cole. I am worried that Harry hears our desire to use academy players, but is focusing on the wrong academy and the wrong era. Goodness

Scouting network? Our "scouting network" under Harry has been watching re-runs of the premier league years. Maybe Harry has created time travel...

I like the use of the word "fracus." Conjures up images of cowboys fighting in a saloon

Considered neg repping you Keano for the claim your sauce made about Joe Cole doing a better job than VdV.

I used to be really excited about the prospect of Belgium becoming a major force in European football. Now they majority of the young talents have signed for Chelsea I find myself hoping they fail! Sad really...
Agreed. The geopolitical and geoeconomic maps have changed and merged. Belgium has been annexed by Chelsea funded by proceeds from the old communist Russia. Amazing.

Spurs don't have enough continuity in management to have a system. Part of that is the fault of the fans and part is the fault of the landscape of an uncapped sport. I'm in your corner overall, though.
I don't think we need continunuity in management for this to work. Barca are frequently changing managers but they often recruit from within. It's all about having managers/coaches throughout the structure of the club who understand and believe in the system. Maybe the likes of Inglethorpe and Sherwood are being groomed for future management roles? They both understand our style of play, it's just down to whether they can handle the pressure of management at this level.

Verts is in Belgium today having a kick around at his brothers house according to himself: https://twitter.com/Jan_Vertonghen/status/207868062521769985

Twitter? WHYYYYYYY?

Unless you were taken hostage by aliens who threatened you with an extraordinarily large anal probe if you didn't post it, i'd love to hear your reason for thinking that your post should be an exception to a rule which has so far successfully kept this thread free of as much bullshit as possible.
