don't forget we have a different budget for youngsters so N'jie might come out of that. We don't need to balance the books so much besides the money we get from the release of wages is a major signing in it's own right. I doubt we'll sneak a transfer in today just to get on the bench at Manu as Poch really likes to build the players slowly into the team.

Money, money, money??!!! WTF are you lot going on about. None of us really have a clue how much money we have or don't have for transfers. That coupled with the fact it has nothing to do with ITK probably means you should stop before this thread gets locked off again.

Only way it would be a double negative would be if it said 'would Adebayor not going NOT affect our transfer plans'.

Could easily be reworded to 'if Ade falls through are incomings affected', to which JJ says no.

Of course, that could also mean that regardless of whether Ade leaves or not, it won't affect anything as we aren't bringing anyone else in.....

EDIT: I'm being sarcastic, just in case anyone starts disagreeing etc.

The names I have heard that we are currently pursuing are all being widely discussed. There is another CM option if things don't pan out with the Germans but if I had to put money on it it would be N'Jie, Berahino, one of the Germans and that's your lot, unless we move a lot more out.

Happy with the N'Jie/Bera targets. Would def like to see one of Kramer/Bender but have a feeling we will end up with an Alex Song type signing for DM.

I'll happily take N'Jie, Berahino and a German CM and ride out the rest of the window.

Sooner the better as we can then hopefully focus on trimming the rest of the fat (Ade, Lennon, Townsend (?) and maybe Soldado) and see if a late push for another attacking talent could be on the cards around deadline day.

Nidge and Berahino would certainly add a bit of pace to the squad - something we missed in a few games last season.

Had an eventful day yesterday winding up a club legend!! Now playing for hull City. Yes Michael Dawson! Walking behind him at the college he is training at. Just started talking out loud as he was on his own saying YIDO jestingly and he turned and looked at me and said now then you must be a spurs fan then! I said yep and said still wish you pulling on our shirt mate. He said he did but things change and still loves the club and fans. He isn't as big as you think though well I imagined him bigger. Sadly can't show you a picture as we aren't aloud to take photos of them. Also asked me if I wanted to have some lunch with him at the cafe where he was eating but we sadly aren't aloud in when they are eating as also Leicester tigers are training here also. They have do have a nice set of cars like!!!
