Good evening folks. Been away all evening, and i'm drunkenly squinting at the screen right now. Good to see Llorente come in , great experience across many leagues and competitions. I know his age may flatter to deceive but he is in the teddy sheringham mould where pace doesn't too much. Also nice to see Jannsen stay to be honest. These may be high hopes, but i still have a nagging feeling that he is someone that can do good things for our beloved club.

Disappointing not to see a right winger come in, but overall Llorente, Sanchez and Aurier for Walker and Wimmer is progress. Up the spurs.

Even more confusing regarding him is in fact he never left for Juve.
He turned down us, Milan, West Ham and Napoli to join Juve. Juve is therefore overconfident and is only willing to bid for 15m or sign him free in January. However Monaco got something to change his mind.

Looks like I missed all the fun today, had to go on a course this morning, by time I got home nearly up to 50 pages. Didn't charge my phone up as I was expecting to see the last 4 hours watching ssn while skipping pages to catch up with you mad ****s to find out I was going to spend 3 and a half hours sitting in lister hospital with my daughter having a suspected broken foot, thankfully it's tendon damage.

So what happened? Anything exciting?

No worries. To me the initial post seemed more an explanation as to why some people are disappointed with the correlation between what ITK suggested we would be signing and what we eventually did sign. The follow up was just a response to a deliberately provocative post.
Spot on! Exactly what I intended. Thanks nightgoat.

Now that the window is done I'm just ready for international football to get out of the way so I can watch this squad prove all the skeptics wrong again. Excited for post-August Harry as well.

This was my first window with SC so I just wanted to say thanks to the mods and ITK's for providing a space like this. COYS

Lads I don't think this is a bad window. I think you have forgotten about Son and his capabilities - yes someone to challenge him would have been amazing, but we don't have him.

I'm excited about Aurier and Sanchez - and also having an actual Plan B with Llorente. It could have been a lot worse. I'm looking forward to it being about the football.

Having a striker the manager isn't worried about trying to score is a bonus.

Hopefully Eriksen can find Llorente's head from the set pieces

What we got is bloody class..aurier Sanchez and llorente as a back up, quality major signings IMO. It's just what we lacked. Honestly think a lot of disappointment is the feeling of being so close, people shitting it that the good times will implode. Personally think this is overplayed.

Yeah. I'm glad we can focus on purely the football.
