He would undoubtedly get kicked, just like Bale did, but also would win us a lot of free kicks, penalties, yellow cards etc. Remember how many times Bale got opposition right backs sent off? Ultimately, just as with Bale, the cream rises to the top...

Yeah I agree with your points that Isco would win us some free kicks and pens (like Bale), but such is his level of skill on the ball, he could easily embarrass some of the less talented players, who might try injure him. Saying that if we sign him I would be over the moon, and I think we would be right up there challenging for the title.

Played worse last season first 3 games. And on top of that in pre-season the vibe around here was that we have strengthened and done very good business.

But of course people will throw all that out of the window only 3 games into the season and because we get linked to a big name and when it eventually doesn't happen, people like to throw their toys out of the pram.



Or related to knee-jerk reactions about only 3 fucking games into the new season.

Or reality hits and you see all the underperforming teams from last season start the season brilliantly......and you then see our performances......and then you see our bench......and then you look for toys to throw out of the pram. Difficult to say how the season will pan out but Poch is no magician and can only work with he's got, we need to make it hard for him to want to go (as when someone else calls) and I would find it extremely difficult to believe that he is happy with how the windows is going. He has always said we need to be smarter and buy early in the window.

But the way he does deals is exactly why we keep missing out on players and have employees resigning (Mitchell).
