Guess it’ll be number 1 target for summer then. Just aren’t that many that are clear upgrades available. Look to Conte to convert a forward player in the short term.

RWB is such a hard position to fill, especially in Conte's system.

That's my thinking as well. Unless a RWB target magically appeared due to other dominoes falling and we could ship out a RWB then it makes sense to revisit in Summer.

As Trix mentioned, I'm fearful we're short at CM with Lo Celso, Dele, and Ndombele leaving. I'm totally fine if Conte doesn't want them for them to leave, but in a Covid-19 world, a positive case and an injury leaves us pretty short in that area.

If you want a sure thing yes, but when your current options are completely unsuited to the requirements of the system there must be someone available across Europe that fits the bill. Unfortunately there is one at Juventus or we might have signed them.

Well tbh how many times has Son covered for Kane and done a superb job? Only difference now is Kulu can also cover Harry so Conte now has options, even Stevie B has been touted as a striker by Conte and of course we still have Scarlett who although very young is very highly rated, i know many will disagree but i dont see the urgency for a striker this month, we have gone years without that back up striker so a few more months wont hurt and we will have far more options.

I agree Kulu could cover for Kane. I have a feeling this guy is going to surprise us in a good way. Scandinavian players usually adapt better to the English Prem..... better than most, south Americans for example.

So you want to sign more average talent at rwb when we already have two players there we don’t want? As we’ve been told numerous times we have a finite budget, let’s not waste it on a 3rd rwb who wouldn’t be in our long terms plans. If we have key targets in such a key position for conte and we can get them in summer let’s just wait.

I cant see us letting Dele, Ndombele and Lo Celso leave without having more than one (Bentancur) replacement lined up. I know they dont play much but even playing only 2 CMs thats cutting it a bit fine. I would imagine we have a few deals lined up in case we can shift all three. Gravenburch for Bergwijn and cash pretty please.
