Alasdair Gold:

Now football.london understands that Paratici and Levy are in advanced talks to finally get him his man in Conte and a growing confidence that the deal could be sealed as early as Monday evening if not Tuesday.
Yeh but which bloody Monday or Tuesday?

If this comes off though, what an absolute genius decision by the players to get Nuno sacked and convince Man Utd that Ole really is the man. If we'd won at the weekend Nuno would this morning be walking Winks through trapping a football while Conte is talking transfer funds at Old Trafford. :cautious:

I've always thought that I were up to date on managers and players around the world, but Gallardo is a name that has passed me by quietly. Why is he mentioned around Twitter lately?

He was prominently mentioned in the summer - but it was mid-season for him, and was always a long-shot due to the timing.

Saying we've offered him an 18 month contract which is basically seeing out Nuno's contract, if true what is it about summer 2023 that we want to be looking for a new coach?

Question: If we appoint Conte are people going to be happy with winning football matches his way? Because lets face it he will win us football matches but it won't be glorious free flowing "Spurs DNA" football.
We need to get realistic. If we complain about Conte and wink g games we need our heads examining. I love attacking football like the next person. But Conte could manage any team in the world. We need to check ourselves a little.

Hmmm.....not so sure.............Not one complaint about the commentator or coverage. It's the main reason I go there these days. The same people moaning about the same thing is actually hard to take your eyes off. A bit of that in here and I might have to touch myself down there.
The referee's a wan...winner...

Levy, who wears his stylish, long wearing Hugo Boss suits, has been doing his shopping in Primark for players and the last manager. Let's hope he finally realises he has to be a Bond Street/Sloane Street shopper and make Spurs an ' Italian label' club before he sells out to Elon Musk

You have to admire the strategic thinking of our players.

If Conte is going to employ his 3 ball-playing CB system, you'd think we'll need at least 2 quality CBs in asap.

We'll probably need at least 5 in the squad, which would mean Romero for definite, no idea how Tanganga and Rodon would do in that system, while Dier and Sanchez probably need to leave.

Also if anyone is still following that private jet, he's changed his mind and is signing for Bournemouth.
