Conte will have a massive amount of work to get our players playing well much less to his style. He is obviously the linchpin but one would think that the speed of implementation will be a function of bringing in a coaching staff who can help. Does anyone who follows Italian football closely have any clue as to availability of former assistant coaches?

I hope you're right mate, really do.

For what it's worth, i agree Conte is a top coach/manager, Mourinho by the time we got him is still a good manager - with a world class team, he'd get that extra bit of grit out of them but as a coach, i felt he was shite for us and didn't improve the sum of our parts in any way frankly.

I have hope that Conte would absolutely improve us, providing he's not getting furiously pissed off about something.

If the commitment of the team suddenly increases, then a lot of them should be ashamed, but Nuno, didn't have the balls to call out and drop those who wouldn't put in a shift for the club. I hope whoever comes in refuses to stand for half-arsed performances just jogging about. Conte appears to be the one, and I think his stature is strong enough to crush the dressing room mutineers.
