I don't expect top four but if he can sort the team out by Christmas and we bring a few in during January then who knows.

It is not a big stretch as no one is pulling away in the battle for fourth. The team does have the necessary level of talent to compete with the other yokels as it stands today. The problems are the team mentality, system of play/cohesion and a low work rate. Mentality can be turned around on a dime. Work rate quickly after that. Cohision and system of play will take time but we only need the gap isn't that large in terms of the table or quality of play

This manager has that mentality no question

Wonder if he's staying over at the training ground like Jose did, or has Levy got him into a travel lodge?

Yeah I just refuse to buy that this is a terrible squad.

We have one of the leagues all time top goal scorers, a world class wide forward, one of the best defenders in Europe last season, the world cup winning captain, and Spanish and Brazilian internationals at full back.

Ndombele and Lo Celso are very talented enigmas, Gil and Skipp have huge potential, Hojbjerg was outstanding for Denmark in the Euros...

Ok, we also have Davies, Winks, Dele, Dier, Sanchez, Bergwijn, etc so there's a lot of dross too but the point I'm making is this isn't a completely broken squad. There might be something broken in the dressing room, but there is a lot of talent in this squad and we're currently look a lot less than the sum of our parts. Under the right manager we could be doing so much better.

Yes, absolutely. (If Conte accepts the offer) I want some of our current players who've been under-performing, to shit themselves. This is where it starts to get bloody serious guys.

Nah, Conte doesn’t need much more than a darkened room to hang upside down in. None of this soft pillow guff.
