I'm stunned we went from Nuno to Conte. Stunned. Shocked. Flabbergasted. How? A proven league winning manager, who last had a job in May so not as long a break as José which is a good thing.

It's going to be a wild ride and I am here for every single second of it. Actually looking forward to our matches again.

What a ride it's been lads - genuinely cannot believe it.

Just shows we are still a big club when we want to be.

Thanks for the run-down, but I just don't see it the way you do, but that's no problem.

So as you say, over the last 5 years, we're 17th in the table on our net spend, but our final league positions have been top 6 (or 7 last season) throughout the same period. Now, I'm no kind of mathematical genius, but I'd say we've done incredibly well to have finished as consistently high in the table, having such a minimal net spend.

Anyway, it's all by the by and as I say, it's no problem to me, so again, many thanks for the info.

Do you not see us sliding out of champions League position a consequence of lack of quality and depth? We will also be on our 4th manager in 6-7 months! If 3 managers couldn't make it work then something is wrong.

Prof from COYS on background to Nino sacking
”Discussions about his fit for the club started right after the NLD. They started quietly feeling out possible replacement options after the vitesse/spammers blunder. United game sealed the deal.”
I was saying to my pals earlier today that the NLD was enough for me to see that it wasn't going to work out, and wanted him sacked after that. I know that sounds very reactionary, but it just showed he didn't fully get the club.

Going from Nuno to Conte in a day is literally night and day. Levy has absolutely shit himself and probably regrets not getting this done in the summer.

I've been a Spurs fan my whole life (31) and I was worried for nuno at the Burnley game when the fans sung "Nuno give us a sub"

When he took off Moura against United and the "You don't know what you're doing" chants rang out, thats really really bad.

On to bigger and better things now!

Oh Lordy, we've just managed to get Conte to be our manager, let yourself enjoy it for five minutes at least!

I don't understand the constant negativity sometimes.
