That’s a classic SC/FM transfer wish list thread post that. Massive list of Outs, big list of you g English players, even got all the made up values and “net spend” bit, love it.
I loved the post for the optimism of a 220m spend on incomings perhaps it was a 6 year projection.:)

Mata is not good enough. He's basically Lamela, just scores a bit more.

Rather get Perisic if we should go the Older-route.

Mata is definitely good enough, especially on a free transfer. Perisic is a completely different player in a different position.

Yes we will have to pay wages and a probable signing on fee, but it will be a lot less than the 30 odd million Inter want for perisic, which Levy would never sanction anyway.

When was the last time we actually signed a player on a free?
The problem is that it seems like good value, but because you have to pay good Bosmans very high wages, like Ramsey at Juve, you end up with the agents of all your other top players wanting parity.

Because we never have a big net spend. You can dream about having a transfer window like that but the past tells us it is not realistic.
The real sad thing is even these best laid plans on here created in good faith still have to have big net spends for the team composition to even tread water with what we had last season.

We just need to wait for the bit when there is a meltdown towards the beginning of August when these fantasy lists of ins and outs inevitably don't materialise.

I like it when people put the In and Out lists and all the completely pretend valuations in their sigs like if only Daniel were to see one of their posts on SC he'd do it all and we'd win the league.

Sancho may be worth all that money, but Levy is never spunking that on him, let's be honest.

Doubly so given that he was £8m 1.5 years ago and his pride (and business tinglers) would never let him get taken for that much money in such a short space of time.

Isn’t there a rumor son plus money

I'd take Mata on a free all day long. Lovely little footballer who can still offer something important for a team over the next 2 years
He's been terribly unfortunate to be landed with Jose for so much of his time in England. Under a manager who appeciates creativity he would have had teams built round him. The problem is he probably lacks the legs to play the way Poch want to, and it'd be big wages.

True but I'd much rather have a player like him coming off of the bench when we need a little magic than some of the guys we have. If Mata is happy starting 8-10 games a season and being an impact player we should be all over that in my opinion. Classy beats athleticism every day of the week

Anyone know anything about Denis Zacharia from Borussia Monchengladbach? Watching him play against Denmark for Switzerland and looks really good in central mid. Lanky but great technical control and vision. A bit like Pogba...

I think one of the ITK's said in the last window he was below the level of player we were looking for
