Been impressed when I have watched him on TV but isn't he a bit short for the PL ?

Aarons or Atal? Aarons is same height as Trippier which is good. I think fullbacks tend to be quite small. Atal is a little smaller but he looks good defensively.

there aren't many inferior leagues compared to Scotland. VVD, and Wanyama are not Scottish, and Robertson looks better because VVD, Liverpool's defence before he turned up and their new keeper wasn't too good. All 3 have proved themselves in England before taking the step up.

The Championship which Grealish plays in is 100 times more competitive than the Scottish PL.

I agree people should be able to have their views, and mine is I don't think he would do well in the PL, like any Scottish players playing up there today Kazakhstan, San Morino. He doesn't face anything like the competition he would here, and would be targeted by every manager.

if he comes down and proves me wrong for whoever he joins I will hold my hands up

You know this is a load of rubbish don't you especially when Robertson was showing clear signs of progression at Hull before he signed for Liverpool, also I don't understand your point about VVD or Wanyama, my point is that they played and looked very good in the SPL, regardless of nationality they are clearly good players so I don't know why you think just because Tierney is Scottish it suddenly means he isn't that good or he won't make it, silly logic.

Dele came from a team two leagues below us ffs which is probably about on par with the SPL.

I don't rate the Scottish PL in terms of football quality. if Tierney had to face quality week in week out I might feel different. the minute Celtic face any quality they fold

Let it go, mate. You’ve spouted some bollocks - best thing is to not continually flog a dead horse in these situations. Yes, the SPL is dog shit, but it doesn’t change the fact that some very good players have come from it. Southampton used to get absolutely mollywopped with VVD in the line-up against shit teams, doesn’t mean he’s wank.

That’s not necessarily tierneys fault is it? Kane could play for Celtic in Europe and they still wouldn’t get far. Tierney may or may not make it at the highest level but I don’t think he should be written off without a chance

Perfectly valid opinion regarding the SPL but you can't say every player up there is trash just because the league isn't up to par.

Aarons. Impressive player but surprised to find he is the same height as Trippier. When watching him for the first time my first thought was wouldn’t he be a bit short for the PL.

Transfer Update: Inter Milan and Tottenham want Kruse

Due to strong performances Werder Bremen wants to extend the contract with Max Kruse . However, the club apparently gets in the negotiations cash-strapping competition. According to Sky information, top clubs such as Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur are intensively involved with a commitment from the former international. Kruse's contract expires in the summer - he is therefore free transfer.

Kruse himself has repeatedly stressed that he wants to decide only at the end of the season. Werder should miss the European competitions, which would significantly improve the position of international buyers.

Admittedly I'm going by Wikipedia, they weren't up for getting together for a good old fashioned back to back.

Liverpool's defence improved and less goals when VVD joined, since Alison joined it has improved even more. with his forwards play he would fit in perfect for us, especially with the defence we have at the moment. if Tierney signed for us, I would be worried (my onions)

Don’t disagree with any of that, VVD is POTY for me, but just making the point that Robertson was already showing signs of being an excellent full back before VVD joined.

well there is a chance the lad will come south of the boarder, if he does and he comes to us I then pray I'm wrong. if he goes to another then I pray I'm right

I haven't said good players haven't come from there. there has been plenty come south, I just don't see Tierney being good enough till he stands up to a tougher challenge.
