What if Norway do not get relegated...?
Then we still have to wait and see about Norwich?!
What if Norway do not get relegated...?
I've only seen him on the counterattack with loads of space to run into. Would like to know how he'd fare against the tightly packed defences that we play against most of the time from middling to lower PL teams.Dan James shone for Swansea against Stoke last night. Scored one and assisted one. Also got 2 players sent off with clumsy challenges who couldn't live with his blistering pace.
Every time I have seen him play, he's been a right handful. Pretty sure a few clubs will be taking notice. He's been MOTM twice out of the last three games.
I for one would not be adverse to the idea of him joining Spurs. Reckon he's going to be a top player in the not too distant future, with top dollar prices to acquire his services. Now is the time.

Pace is very, very useful. It's just that some players really excel with open space to run into, but not so much with tight, congested areas. I really think we need to find a technician who can create space in tight areas. James does look like a prospect though. Leeds must be stewing that they didn't get that deal over the line for a pittance in Jan.No denying that pace is one of his main attributes, but he is more than capable of standing a defender up and finding a yard for a cross or through ball. He worked very well linking up with Brooks and Co. in a recent match for Wales against Slovakia.
Alot of his work was performed in the final third that day against a resolute Slovakia. A game that saw him score the only goal and grab the MOTM award.
He's more than pace, but yep, he's got the fecker to burn, so when required, why not use it.
I hate auto correction at times
Lozano is the type of player that you mention who needs lots of open space to run into, similar to Werner. These are not the types who would benefit us.Pace is very, very useful. Except when we’re playing top six sides and in the CL. Or when the opposition are chasing the game and have to commit more players.Lozano is the type of player that you mention who needs lots of open space to run into, similar to Werner. These are not the types who would benefit us.
He's phenomenal. Absolutely blistering pace. I think he would be an ideal backup for Son.Dan James shone for Swansea against Stoke last night. Scored one and assisted one. Also got 2 players sent off with clumsy challenges who couldn't live with his blistering pace.

would like to hear some thoughts on how the recruitment thread has gone.
we are getting ourselves excited about some lower league players. now I know you can use our players, and players like Robertson and Gomez to justify it. at the end of the day the right player is the right player.
but given our stadium, our (cough) unused budget, are we happy with this plan given an Eriksen would want to see intent for the title (ala James Rodriquez + anyone else we would usually miss out on).
Caveat needed that I don't know the answer - the right player is the right player. But we seem to be mentioning the likes of Grealish as a nailed on top 4 player when he's not proven outside of the Championship.
I find it interesting that's all.
You only get away with looking like him (the socks, the hair) if you're actually good. That was ridiculous!
