Bring. Me. Rashford. Get it done, Daniel.

Rashford would have been the perfect compliment to Kane. I really hope Harrison can fill that role. I like Janssen but he's too similar of a striker to Kane. Wouldnt work well bringing him on to partner with Kane to change a game, IMO. Rashford would. Harrison might be able to fill that role perfectly too if he's good enough.

Did you not watch Kane and Janssen in tandem against Inter?

I find myself complexed by number of people that say Kane and Janssen are too similar. They are clearly not.

Kane can play centre forward or deeper role, I think he could pretty much play up top with anyone really.

Kane is also right-footed and Janssen is left footed.

And people thought Keane and Berbatov would be too similar to play together...

Should we be concerned that Poch seems to want the most talented youngsters to train with Spurs and not learn any bad habits out on loan, but was willing to send KWP to Roda (before KWP rejected it)?

Another former youngster has rebooted his career. Darren McQueen was let go a couple of years back, spent a year in Ipswich's U21s before moving into non-league with Maldon & Tiptree. This summer he's got a move to Ebbsfleet which is a good move for him. Always had talent but was endlessly injured.

pretty much what we've all been saying, nice to read(if it's true) that we see onomah's long-term future as a cm.

Good to hear. This appears to be the heart of Poch's philosophy regarding bringing young players through:

Pochettino believes that the most talented youngsters are better off being coached by him and his assistants rather than going to another team on loan. Although the youngsters would play more games out on loan, Pochettino would rather instil his football values into them while assessing whether they can step into his first team. He does not want his prospects being taught other principles by different coaches.

Went over to watch the U18's this morning 4-1 probably flattered them a bit - the game was a quite a bit tighter. Overall though there was a lot of promise in the team - first goal a penalty I thought if there was a foul it was outside the box but it was well taken by Shashousa - the second goal by Roles was a very poor mistake by their keeper who let a tame shot from 30 yards role through his hands The other two goals Griffiths took his well and Oaklely Booths who blasted home on the angle after good play between him and Griffiths

Austin - made a great second half save and could do nothing with the Southampton goal which was a good hit from 25 yards
Eyoma rb - athletic quick, made a few mistakes with his distribution first half but improved into the game
Brown lb - looked to link well with Keenan particuarly in the first half did ok defenisvely
Mukena - the smaller of the two centre backs did ok I thought
Dinzeyi - huge centre back I thought he could play a bit bringing the ball out well and using the ball ok
Marsh - holding midfielder he can play though has time on the ball and can put a challenge in i think he is very interesting
Roles -cm - I was a little disappointed in him he tries things that don't always come off but looked a little off the pace
Oakley- Booth - I thought he grew into the game and as it progressed he became more influential capped it with a good goal
Shashousa - rm - I enjoyed watching him he is small but put in a shift despite some hefty tackling on him he has a lot to offer
Bennetts - he did ok but he is a second year and needs to make better decisions at times linked well with the full back but needs to be little more influential
Griffiths - first time Ive seen him he took his goal well might have had another but I was surprised that he looked more comfortable when moved to the right rather than as central striker - having said that i think it is so difficult for a youngster to play up front on their own and I really don't see doing that as being beneficial to a boys development

subs Tsaroulla came on again he is a small lad but clearly has a decent engine on him I think Oteh came on and went up front and I believe Patterson came on and was the most impressive of the 3

Good stuff, not only good to read about Onomah, position wise, but I said the same elsewhere in answer to someone, about the merit of keeping players here and having them train with Poch and the first team group, learn the system and ethos and be used to playing with the first team group of players than going out on loans that often are an ill fit.
