I would like to see Anthony Georgiou get some games with the 1st team this season, he looked very impressive in pre-season.

Number 64, Joe Dearman, is new to me.

Any of our youth watchers know much about him?

Funnily enough just looking through message board of the football squads website and the admin dude also said he hadn't hear so of him either lol - he's a bit of a mystery one!

Any idea about who to expect in our cup game against Luton Town tomorrow? Presumably Marcus Edwards will start?

A suggestion, are those numbers for the youth players not the numbers they have on their training kit, rather than squad numbers for the first team. Every player coming into the Academy has a number.

No, site policy is that we only include numbers that have been registered with the Premier League which they issue out in a document.

Dearman is almost certainly an oversight. He's in the U16s but not a standout. He's certainly not on the verge of breaking through into the first team.

hopefully, although he only started training last week so they might think it's too soon for him. presumably whiteman, oakley-boothe and georgiou will drop back down from the first team and i hope poch lets ccv play too.

Seen Cam for a couple of seasons in the youth team. The one reservation I have is that he doesn't have a lightning first five yards That said he is certainly not slow and as a centre back of a very young age he is still learning his trade and developing a better positional awareness will compensate for any shortcomings.

He is very exciting player iimo

Carter-Vickers problem seems to be his body shape is often leaning or facing the wrong way, which comes down to reading the game.

If you watch Toby and Jan they're always poised for the ball over the top so they can get their body in front of the attacker.

Jan and Dier have talked about it in interviews, it's obviously something Poch has them work on.

Easily fixed with our meticulous coaching.

Those concerned with CCV's initial pace / acceleration / agility I can see where you're coming from, but I would also say that none of Dier, Toby or Jan are rapid so CCV couldn't really ask for better mentors in getting the best out of his natural attributes. There is always going to be attacking players who are faster or more agile than you. If he can learn his positioning and reading of the game from Toby for example then that goes a long way to overcoming any physical short-comings he may or may not have. Not to mention, as discussed above, Poch is a damn good coach at improving players, even established first teamers let alone young guys coming through, so all in all not too concerned with him thus far.
