The Way Forward

Amid the utter horror of seeing Spurs being mutilated, I want to state what I think is the way forward. It comes in stages:

1) Sack Ramos. Regardless of his abilities, he is no longer able to continue as our Head Coach, as I feel the dressing room is lost.

2) Sack Comolli. His time at the club has consisted of poor decision-making, political manoeuvring, and destablisation. Once more, regardless of his abilities or potential abilities he is no longer good for this club.

3) Scrap our suspected 'resale value' transfer policy. From now on, all players bought to the club should be the best players we can sign for the role and their future value should not be a consideration.

4) Every effort should be made to hold onto key players. Although not always as easy as stated, there are measures that can be put in place to prevent agitation by players who wish to use the club as a stepping stone.

5) Appoint a Manager. Not a Head Coach and a DOF, but a Manager, unless the manager specifically requests a DOF to help him. In that case, allow the manager to choose his DOF. If the manager is no longer required, then the DOF should be sacked along with him.

6) All profits should be reinvested in the club or used to keep ticket prices down in order to keep attendances up and to show appreciation to the fans who stick with this club through thick and thin.

Sod it, just attack attack attack. lets go 4-2-4, four forwards, two midfielders to sit. Fullbacks rampaging on. Yes we will concede (as always), yes we might lose but at least it might be flipping entertaining!

I get rid of Comolli & Ramos, fly to Hamburg and plead with BMJ to come back to the club he loves

I tell Martin I will never sell our best players and will only sell If he wants them to leave

When I open my mouth I am completely honest and all my transfer dealings are done in a professional and decent manner.

I sack that PR bitch that Levy has running affairs behind the scene and our club once again becomes a friendly and welcoming place to be a part of!

As reward to our fantastic fans I announce ticket prices will fall 5% next season and lay on some free travel to some away games this season.

We don't even know what the problem is. It's not clear cut.

Ramos' baffling selections, poor tactics and, seemingly, an inability to motivate the players.

Or is it Commoli - who has gone from uncovering such gems as Toure, Clichy and co. to drafting in players that are drastically overpriced or are unsuited to the English game.

Or is it Levy using the squad like a Monopoly board.

As i just posted to you Rez, in another thread, I think they are all intertwined - and the only way we can get out of this is by cutting all the cancer out.
