Sam Quek is hot - she just needs to stop talking... the words out of her mouth sheesh

If she woke up beside me, she wouldnt be making the 6am show, I assure you
She'd be OK for a 6:01 start though I'd imagine.

I haven't seen a full video, but I'm disappointed in the British boxer who just stuffed his silver medal straight in his pocket. I get he's upset that he lost the final, but it seems incredibly disrespectful to behave like that on the World's stage.

I saw him in an interview the other day and thought he seemed like a cocky little ****.

Entitled **** who does not know the value of a medal. This is partly what 'participation medal' culture breeds. Amongst other character failings

KJT out of the heptathlon, pinged achilles I think.
Shame as the current World Champion it was her best shot at Olympic Gold.

That's a shit thing to do at the Olympics. I understand if you've lost a football final but the Olympics is a different matter.

What are the chances of a serious inquest into the administration of British Athletics and Rowing post-Games? 4 medals, none of which are gold, is a pretty poor showing for the two sports who receive among the most funding.

In a way, though, this is Olympic culture. I was looking at the table the other day and I can’t believe I’ve never realised that it’s based solely on golds. You could have 50 silvers and 30 Bronzes but you’d be behind a country with 1 gold and no silvers or bronzes. Makes you think if that’s how they do the table what’s the point in even having silver and bronze? Just hand out the gold to the winner and chalk it up on the table.

I’d like to see a points based system. 10 for a gold 5 for a silver and 2 for a bronze or something like that. Having said that I’m sure the individual athletes don’t really care about the table and rightly so.

To be fair though nearly every footballer that loses a final does the same, they dont get any stick

Of all sports in the Olympics the walk has to be the most pointless.

Who in their right mind wants to train their body to move like that when they can ... run? Which last I checked goes faster?

And they don't just trundle a few K, no it's longer than a bloody marathon!

I mean lots of bollocks swinging too

I bet it is enduring and so so difficult but cant be healthy for those hips. I think they have discontinued the race walk for the next olympics onwards.

They're switching out the 50k with a 35k and keeping the 20k as it is.
