To be fair, they have a small selection of player names so it might be the case that his name wasn't an option...Swansea are no longer selling Ben Davies shirts at their club shop....
Looks done and dusted tbh.

We really have milked this deal. I'm glad it looks like it's happening but he is hardly a world class player.

He isn't now, and he may never be - but as Vulcan10 says, he's a left back. And a fairly good one at that. Please find me a better home grown left back for 10M...
With the right training this lad could be great. He's at a pretty good level at 21, has a tempered attitude, keeps his head down, and seems to work hard. He just isn't there talent wise. But talent can be taught, mentality cannot.
I have been a big Ben Davies fan for two seasons I don't need telling how good he can become. My point is aimed at Baldini and Levy for taking an age to sign him.

Why does it matter how long it took?!
Jesus Christ, people like to moan for the sake of moaning don't they?

If you look at our transfer dealings since ENIC took over there is a pattern. We tend to take an age over transfers. What are the implications for that? The new players don't have enough time to adjust to the managers style, philosophy, they don't get to know their new team mates. Guess what happens next? We drop points early season as the players don't know eachother well enough through not having the training time to nail the game plan. So I would say it matters very much.
Not moaning for the sake of moaning just posting what happens most transfer windows and it bloody well costs the team point most seasons. Two seasons ago we missed out on CL by a point. Them fine lines are the difference between achieving something or not.
