Another stupid tackle got him a booking. A couple of good passes but that lousy tackle and lousy pass earlier cost us momentum.

Your boy Townsend cost us momentum with pretty much every 'touch' today without the couple of good passes so I guess Lamela was baby steps forward..

So shall we run a poll about firing Pochettino ? Since everyone is saying how stupid and clueless he is I guess they all want him fired.

And then what ? Try and poach Southampton's coach again ? Tell De Boer we meant to appoint him last time but didn't because he revealed Daniel had spoken to him and it was all a terrible misunderstanding ? If he fires Poch which he won't ( yet ) then Levy should go with him .

The root problem apart from Levy's lack of judgement in hiring people is the Bale money being totally wasted on mediocrity that we can't offload because it is not Daniel's policy to show losses on our balance sheet . And how is Baldini still in the job ? He should have gone a year ago.

Oh, so it's the foreign bit. The UKIP mindset is sub-neanderthal, but somehow we have to listen to such moronic opinions.
BTW, where's b)? You know, you wrote a), so I presumed there was some sort of logical thread, but alas I was too hopeful.

Don't get me wrong, I think we're awful as well and we've been awful for a couple of years now.

We're loaded with players that the club don't want though on good money. Until we can shift a few on and give Poch some of his own players, how can we judge him ? I doubt he'd keep many of the dross he's got to play at present. Nobody could change us in 12 months right now because we don't have the money to throw 100m at players every year. It's going to take a lot of time. Sacking managers one after the other after forcing them to plod on with the rubbish we presently have isn't going to get us anywhere.

We appointed this fella after about 3 managers in 3/4 years. At some point we've got to give a guy a chance. I mean, we're picking Andros Townsend in the first team today ! And crying for Lamela instead ! What does that tell us ?!?!

If the players are on long contracts and cannot be shifted appoint a manager who can work with those players. Poch is basically an inflexible coach and in my view a bit naive.. We did not need a Poch at this stage we needed someone more pragmatic with good experience to get us back on track an then appoint a young manager from a position of strength. At this point spurs is not a job for a young relatively inexperienced manager.

Lamela Townsend Chadli all at the same level in my view none of them are game changers on their own in a spurs shirt.. How is it we appoint another manager who cannot embrace all the players in the squad and play a system to everyone`s strengths... Whatever you think of Adebayor when is motivated he is a tremendous asset... Harry and Sherwood got the best out of him and AVB and Poch have basically sidelined him so to say he is rubbish all of the time is not true..

I don`t understand with the squad we have how we are so poor most of the time and in my view the buck stops with the managerial appointments they have not been top class thats totally obvious..

we have played the most games with the one of the most high tempo teams but that's no excuse not to rest those players who have played too much. Eriksen looked woeful and he has worked his butt off all season - he shouldn't be starting as shouldn't Mason and Chadli. Kane is superman so he starts. We used to have 2 good teams but they both have disintegrated. We have to decide to put out a second string team for the Europa league all season. You can't play high tempo twice a week. If we all knew that certain players had been outcasted but why weren't any replacements made?

This result was inevitable as soon as the team was announced, more or less.

Never usually moan prior to kick off, but I did today.

Every is so quick to jump on Pochettino's back, in true Tottenham fan style. How about the group of shit he's had to work with all year who let us down time and time again. I've never seen such a toothless side in years, we couldn't even score against Villa at home. We need about five new attacking options and that's no exaggeration. It's not just the manager to blame for fuck sake.

He deserves criticism because he is rewarding failure by picking the same team despite them not playing well enough to retain their places in the team.

I don't care what others say this squad isn't shit, its certainly lopsided but a good team/core can be formed from it, the boss just has to see it and play to its strengths.

West Brom, Newcastle, Stoke, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Leicester have all either beaten us or played us off the park at White Hart Lane, that is a disgrace.

And out-paced, once again. Out maneuvered, outran, out-muscled, out-willed, out-etc'd...

yap... we were rubbish.

a team that wins a free kick on the half way line... 4 passes later it ends up with Vorm. *sigh*

i really don't know what does on at HT, but the team wasn't fired up.

Has anyone ever seen a team SO damn desperate to waste time against us?

Pathetic.

How many managers have these players not wanted? If true, it's time for the players to take a good long hard look at themselves for once; instead of constantly shifting the blame like always.
They didn't want Sherwood either. This is just reminding of the Ramos era after we won the cup except we didn't win the cup this time around.
This is what Lloris said earlier in the season.

“When it's the third coach in a year and there are problems, perhaps it's not necessarily the coach that is the problem. Even so, we work, we try to find solutions,”
