We need to ratchet up the intensity against liverpool. I don't want to see us settling for the tempo of the last two games. Need to wind it up.

I'd like to see Poch try eriksen alongside Dier or Victor if Dembele ain't fit. He is a good passer but i think poch prefers power and dominance over that. It's just there ain't too many Yaya's or Moussa's in the game who can do both. Especially one who is willing to sit on the bench.

Good result, never want to hear about the game again, I think next weeks 11 picks itself where two holding midfielders will suit us significantly more.

It was ruled by the Court Of Arbitration For Sport as a fucking cringey, RAWK-esque phrase that should be banned by all right-thinking people.
rawk-esque?
I wouldn't know, never been on there, obviously u have but I've better things to do with my life.
I trust poch, so should you.
I see it as giving wanyama the time he needs to adjust to our style.
And once again he's proved right.
Poch knows what he's doing.
Fucking cringe worthy my ass.

We were right at them today but the fitness levels just aren't yet there for 90 minutes of pressing. This week was much better than last in the regard so hopefully we'll be closer the kind of energy you're talking about against Pool.

Janssen was right at 'em. Not enough all over the park, collectively, for me.

started off well, then drifted, but deserved the win. really looking forwards to Dembele's return, yes Wanyama had a reasonable debut, and was in the right place at the right time, but he hasn't got that thrust we need.

really wished Janssen had scored cause his overall performance deserved one, though to be totally honest I want Harry up top scoring bundles of goals

Against a wounded Liverpool probably isn't the best time to start dicking about with new and exciting line-ups.

Likes Erik Lamela, deal with it.

We just do not look match sharp yet - to be expected I guess but we are lacking in intensity and sharpness in the final third. It will come soon I hope. At least we have started better than we did last season.

I think that does a disservice to a number of others primarily Wanyama, Lamela and the full backs. Regardless though the fitness levels will come in time, several of our players are still working their ways back from being at the Euros.

Janssen reminds me very much of a young Mark Hughes or Brian McLair, energetic, hungry, unselfish, and skillful.
