Think he'll be a divisive player on here but I've enjoyed watching Wanyama so far. Nothing special on the ball but I love his aggression off it. The ease with which he pushes grown men off the ball is unbelievable.

Picked up second half. Weird but around me it was crap. I was behind the goal Aswell.
Probably cause they were all on their phones like you. You fucker. You're a West Ham fan aren't you. Silly prick.

Ha checking the Liverpool score while they rolled around the floor, is allowed. I think the bloke next to me has prostate problems though.

I was in block 32 and it was quite good, although I've always sat in other areas of the ground before today, so it might seem a lot better compared to the other stands, but not as good as usual.

Kane played in support of Janssen.
Lamela was out left and Eriksen right, think that might have been because Poch thought there'd be more targets in the box with two forwards hence traditional crossing sides for right/left footed

Take it easy with Eriksen. Last two seasons he's started slowly. He's a touch and timing player so when it's off, it looks awful. It will click and he'll remind us of his quality.

Janssen was very effective. A real pain in the arse for defenders. I think he'll turn out to be very popular.

I liked him behind Janssen and can see that being very effective once they gel.
I don't disagree, but seen him play much better with more effect. As I said already, as the season progresses he will improve as per usual.

Did he go to the loo at half time and only come back at added time?

I thought Janssen was actually quite poor, despite a few decent touches he lost the majority of his 50-50s, didn't seem to have the pace to get in behind, was very one-footed and the miss was truly shocking. Wanyama's reluctance to drive forward with the ball was also very frustrating, he seemed to want to pass sideways or backwards most of the time , but other than that I thought he was neat and tidy, Kane was more or less anonymous and the less said about Eriksen's performance the better. On the other hand I thought Rose, Walker and Alderwiereld all played very well, Lamela was our most creative player for the majority of the match and Dele was fantastic when he came on. What was particularly noticeable about Alli was that he always looked to get us going forward and it was his positive play that really turned the game more in our favour I felt.

Mate what match was you at? Or was there some substance being sneakily smoked near you that has effected what you was watching, Dele aside?

I don't mind when touch is off. What I worry about is when a player looks a bit tentative when it comes to challenging for the ball and being aggressive. It's one of the easier parts of the game. There is a direct correlation between when the likes of Eriksen and Alli are aggressive and determined and their overall quality of play. The first two games both have seemed a little off the pace and unsure of themselves. Almost like they are trying to avoid getting hurt. Or maybe just thinking too much out there and not relying on their natural instincts. I'm sure both will adjust. Hopefully soon, as we are very reliant on the front three to press and harrie opponents. Right now it looks a touch discordant.
