We can't sacrifice kanes finishing by playing him that deep, he either plays directly alongside Vincent or we play a real playmaker or Eriksen where kane is. We can't have kane going another 8 games without a goal at the start of this season like he did last season. Although he did have the chances yesterday.

Still one of the idiot fans who thinks Dembele will ever play no10 for us. Just no mate.
Thankyou for that rude and disrespectful statement I am not an idiot!! I am a fan of over 30 years with an opinion about my team! FYI Poch already played Dembele in the attacking three behind the striker before he got injured last season and he played very well. I am certain we will see Poch try him again further forward this season. Adding Wanyama not only gives Poch cover but it gives us flexibility just as Janssen allows us flexibility to play an extra striker.

I think it`s early days but I can see Janssen and Kane rotating on the pitch I was encouraged by what I saw.. The only problem is both players don`t seem to like scoring before October :)

Well we have 1 game left of the dembele ban and despite how much I hate the seemingly over reliance on him as a catalyst for anything good the team does, if we can take 5 points from 3 games without him this must be an improvement on when he didnt play last season?

just watched janssens miss, in all fairness the ball is spinning and sliding around on the turf and although he snatched at it a bit, he did get a decent contact.

I think he is banned for two more games.

Not sure on the stats but fairly certain we had a few losses and a lot of draws .

Heard a song about verts having a big cock in the bricklayers yesterday. Anyone remember how it goes?

Yeah it wasn't as easy as I thought it was but still should have hit the target, think best thing to do was to lift it over the onrushing keeper.

He's got a massive cock he has, the Jan the Jan.

He tucks it in his sock he does, the Jan the Jan.

He f**ks his bird and now she's dead, he swings his cock up round his head, Jan Vertonghen Tottenham's superman

Na na na.... Jan Vertonghen, Tottenham's superman.

There are a few variations of it.

Obviously was half expecting Andros to score yesterday in ex-player fashion, but instead he finishes the game getting megged by Lamela and then, shortly afterwards, unceremoniously demolished by Wanyama. This is the new Spurs :)

I wasn't that convinced by Kane in his role today. It was the first complete game with them playing like that though so it will take a while.

It will change his role for us though playing both of them. Kane won't get as many goals.
Could it be that Kane just isn't playing very well generally? Didn't play well at euros and also against Everton

I know he wasn't amazing but I thought Kane looked much more Kane compared to the Everton match.

He's absolutely knackered and you can't really blame him. He's played football nearly two years straight, he's only human after all. I think it's easy to forget that about footballers, they aren't machines.
