That's how you turn attack into defence! Joe Hart gathers following a Spurs corner and launches the ball forward quickly. Sergio Aguero scuttles after it to collect, then fires in an unstoppable angled drive into the top corner. Spurs don't know what has just hit them.

By hook or by crook I'll be first in this book.
We were thrashed 4-1 in the away fixture. Many on SC at the time thought we were the better side. Yep, really.

Recently West Ham troubled City and Villa possibly deserved better but both sides lost.
I do not want to lose this game. I certainly don't want to lose by 4-1.
Fuck philosophy.

Some people thought we played well and did.
Thrashed?
Don't think so.

Aguero at his best was the difference in the 4-1.... let's hope he stays up all night watching the boxing!

You're forgetting that Man City's first two goals were an offside goal and a penalty given for a dive. We played pretty well as it was one of the first games we saw glimpses of the effect of Pochettino's style on our play, as evidenced by Mason winning the ball high up the pitch for Eriksen's goal.

Villa also got incredibly lucky when Bacuna wasn't sent off five minutes into the second half for an identical foul in the box for which Fazio was punished in our match at Man City. Had that been refereed properly it would have ended up 4, 5, 6-0 the way City were playing.

I fancy us to get a draw. We usually looked lively against the bigger teams this season (Man U away & Mickeys at home apart). A few goals in this one as well. COYS

Aguero hasnt scored for a while so the charitable foundation known as THFC will surely concede an aguero hat trick and a brace from bony then.

Hasn't he scored in his last 2 league games?

I'd like to share your optimism and I hope you are right, but I'm afraid I don't when our defenders and outfield players continue to defy logic by dwelling on the ball in dangerous areas rather than being decisive and belting it out to safety when under pressure, and to compound matters they also have a nasty habit of shielding the ball right in front of their own goal with attacking players right behind them instead of clearing it immediately to safety. I'm afraid there will inevitable consequences if they continue with this ridiculous practice, especially with the likes of Augero lurking, he has recently started to hit form again, and as good as Lloris is he cannot always bail us out when outfield players persistently take these stupid risks.

Our only hope of picking up any points from this is by taking our chances and scoring, and in reality scoring at least two or more because I'd be willing to stake my house on us not keeping a clean sheet in this game. I predict that we will get a few chances as they are not known for being able to keep it tight at the back but equally we will give them at least a few chances.

Despite the odds, I honestly feel we will get a result. And if we do win, I can see us eclipsing Liverpool for 5th Spot, making us the best of the rest

It's all about doing what you can to stop Aguero. Not an easy task.

Seriously i cant remember but he is still bound to score a few.

he's scored four in his last three :D

glad we no longer have to watch aguero walking past dawson on a biannual basis though, then again we have fazio to take up that role now.
