Lennon really shouldn't have started this match, bad judgment from Tim. He looks some way of his best, should have come on as a sub in 65th min. Apart from that I am very pleased with the team.

Keep our foot on the pedal and we should get more goals. Great half but a bit vulnerable to Stoke's counter attack. Hopefully Lamela to come on for Lennon at some stage. COYS!

Lennon off Lamela on for me, with his flicks and movement he'd love this game and Lennons been very poor..

Would love Pauli to score to top this display off.

weve been great to watch so far.

It cant just be me that is praying for the quick second goal. Just fucking fall for us.

Its going to be carnage if we can get that in, im sure of it. We finally look like we want to hurt someone.

Lennon in 'no end product after coming back from injury' shocker!

Still, positives to take in that half and none more so than Paulinho's contribution - his best performance in a Spurs shirt thus far.

Also, wonder if Sherwood will be bold enough to overhaul our right hand side and take Naughton and Lennon off for Fredericks and Lamela.

Stoke, a poor outfit and after their midweek exertions with 9 men at Newcastle, then you'd like to think we can really exploit them second half.

Next goal is the killer blow as we are always capable of a brainfart goal conceded but if we get the next goal then we can really make them suffer.

We are well worthy of the lead and we should be at least one more to the good. Hopefully this will continue and we wont be sucker punched. Paulinho is having his best game for Spurs (that I've seen anyway), and it may not be a coincidence that it's because he's got more room to operate in the middle. He has options out wide and up front, rather than another two guys standing next to him hogging space and slowing everything down. There's room for his flicks and one touches. In fact, anytime we've pushed through the middle with one-touch footy, we've looked dangerous. And when that fails, we get it out wide for Lennon or the full-backs to cross. Good stuff, purposeful possession, Stoke not really getting a sniff. Hopefully it continues.

This is the 1st game this season we actually look like a team
Exactly. Enjoyed it, just frustrated at our execution. But we are showing the balance, in play, that I've wanted to see all season.

Just need to find our scoring touch and then build on it all and move forward.

I can't have naughton on the field though, tim should be locked up for that.

Paulinho just needed a breather.

Lennon may have started to protect Naughton, but have prospered going forward. It's not always his fault that he lacks "end product". I'm looking at you, Ade.
