We dont want Sherwood becuase we've played mostly shit with him, he seemingly doesnt have a clue what he is doing and he is clearly way out of his depth. Him being a prick is just adding on to the reasons why alot of people want him off.

He currently holds the best win percentage of any Spurs manager in PL history (according to the Daily Mirror).

As you say he clearly does not have "a clue" what he is doing. Your so right.

Everything you accuse Sherwood of applies to your beloved Andre far more aptly; shitty football with 15 goals in 16 games, seemingly no clue about how to remedy the shit-on-a-stick football; clearly out of his depth in the Prem as two quick-fire sackings from clubs in enviable positions proves; and an empty, humorless, jargon-filled public speaker to boot.

Based on this season, if you wanted AVB to keep his job, there's little evidence supporting your call for Sherwood to lose his based on their head-tohead comparison:
Villas-Boas
Pld 16 W 8 D 2 L 6
Pts 27 Goals for 15 Goals against 21 ( - 6 GD )
PPG = 1.69

Sherwood
Pld 17 W 10 D 2 L 5
Pts 32 Goals for 30 Goals against 24 ( + 6 GD )
PPG = 1.88

But there's no accounting for taste I suppose. And God knows off-the-field excuses for sacking someone are more than enough for many a Spurs fan (see H. Redknapp).

I think you'll be a happy man in the summer when Sherwood gets ousted. But I hope your preference for shit-on-a-stick "style" of footy stays well away from the club.

Wrong again! Jonathan Woodgate? You really should think through what you are going to say. Or is winning a Cup not progressing?

I thought we played quite well with the ball last night. It was without the ball that worried me.

We need that defensive midfield cover (Sandro) to stop teams running straight through the middle when we lose the ball.
Chadli imposed himself in a more defensive position and moved the ball on well.
After a few early misplaced passed Naughton looked a lot more composed and dealt well with any attacks that came his way.
Rose is not good enough, in ability, fitness or mentality, still living off that goal and a decent season with Sunderland.
Lennon is frustrating, first half didn't seem bothered, and when he did, he made the wrong choice of pass every single time. This guy is not a kid learning the trade, this kind of thing should now be instinctive, but as it isn't we can see why his assists are not what they should be.
The others played to a level you would and should expect them to.

A special mention for Harry Kane. Some people wrote him off without giving him a chance. From what I had seen, he has a lovely first touch, a bit of strength, an unexpected turn of pace and gets himself into positions to score. I hope now the goal (and a half for Ades second) will give him the confidence to push on.

After the Lord Mayors show I'm afraid, the damage has already been done. No amount of tonking of second rate teams is going to change that.

How poor were Sunderland ? Surely they should have been able to put more pressure on our central midfield than they did.

No he doesn't have a clue what he is doing and he is also a two face, back stabbing lying git... Evident by last nights post match interview.

Also, I think 99% of supporters who want TS out, couldn't give a flying f**k about ppg or win %, I don't...

We made a bit of a meal of it until the final 15 mins, but I can't complain, 5-1 is great result.

The revisionism after beating the worst team in the league thus far is astounding. The fact of the matter is we have a talented squad and poor manager, hence we generally beat the teams below us, but get royally screwed by those above us. Tim is not the man to take us forward, that should be obvious to anyone that understands football.

This bit requires attention.

All I recall him saying was that he did not even know if top four would result in him keeping the job. i.e. no specific targets were set.

And there you have it Eddie...I did tell you, why you bothered to argue I don't know.

"If the season was to end tomorrow the chairman wouldn't be too happy because we're fifth," said Sherwood, who was handed an 18-month deal by Daniel Levy after Villas-Boas' departure.

"The final league position has to meet the expectations of the club otherwise it's 'Goodbye Charlie'.

"The club need to finish in fourth place. Anything other than that is going to be a disappointment.

"Realistically we should be in and amongst it. But it ain't easy, is it?"

He loves making himself look like a xxxx for all the world to see? My guess.

Surely it was very clear to see now why Danny Rose was their best player last season!

I think that "99% of supporters who want TS out" also don't give a "flying f**k" about win percentage. They just want Sherwood out, instant success and then if we are not beating the top four (like we obviously haven't done since day one of the PL) will just bay for the next managers head.

There, that's the kind of supporters your talking about, right? You're a bit confused about the real meaning of the word supporter i think.

Woodgate. One player.

You must have Googled that because you were still in nappies when we won that.

Pray tell us all what happened the season after we won the Cup? Wan't that the season when Captain Ramos sunk us faster than the Titanic.

""Or is winning a Cup not progressing".............................errrrr NO, not that season. But you should Google that too.

Do you truly have any knowledge of our history, aside from soundbites?

When was the last time we "tonked" a second rate team? Wigan at home?

Damage is always done before progress is made, or should Liverpool have fired Rogers for finishing seventh last season?

Were you rooting and tooting for a defeat last night because "the damage had already been done'?

Seriously guys, give the diatribe a break just for a while hey?

What worries me is the CB being allowed to take a throw in, in our half by the penalty box. Whats happened to the basic coaching? That's why clattermole found it easy to score.
