Meanwhile, the pope remains Catholic.

LVG is such a shit show at the moment, I dont think he's a bad manager per se. He's got a great record, and he's bringing through some good young players at United, but he's in totally the wrong situation there. United need instant success and he isn't the type of guy to bring it. As such, he's starting to crack under the huge pressure and looking like an utter lunatic.

He's doing a bad job, but like I said, there is some good stuff happening, like good kids coming through, and all that's going to be wrecked when Mourinho comes in next year as he's shit with kids

United are in a right mess.

I just love it that MoPo went to the loo and missed our third goal while we were p*ss*ng all over Louis' bigger team.

"Bigger" as in a cow's poo is larger than a beautiful lily.
as in a troll is larger than a fair maiden.
as in a pint of cheap import lager is larger than an exquisite glass of wine.

I think Van Gaal has been a bit unlucky at UTD. He inherited a shit team and got them champs league in his first year. He's actually brought through a lot of younger players and has been unfortunate with some of his signings not kicking on. We all wanted to sign Depay and Martial pre season and I think we were also linked to Rojo, Blind and Schneiderlin. I think they are a CM and creative player away from a really decent team.

For 60 minutes yesterday it was a fairly even game and it definitely changed when Fosu Mensah went off. I think if he was given another year and could sell Rooney and replace him with someone decent, and get some one like Modric in I think they could challenge. They have a great defensive record but they are limited going forwards. Doesn't take much to correct that into a winning team and they have the resources.

All that being said I am overwhelmingly glad we got Poch and not him. Whatever had happened with LVG I think he would of only done 3 years and been off. Poch has the opportunity to build a club and reputation over the next 10 years if we can continue on.

But anyway happy to laugh at LVG because he is a twat and any one with that arrogance deserves to be put in their place.

Always thought he was a car crash waiting to happen and really, really didn't want him. His record as a manager is a combination of moments of extreme glory interspersed with catastrophic failures. I never wanted him waving his nuts around in our dressing room. As for Utd being bigger - fair comment but they're on the slide since Ferguson.

Never wanted LVG, he has previous for upsetting players / using them out of position.

Times are changing, next year all teams in the Premiership will be flush with cash from the tv deal which will make even the 'small' premiership clubs some of the richest in world football. What will be a real delight is that it's more likely that the 'big 4' will continue to struggle next season as well and the journalists/SKY, etc. will be choking on it.

He's s dinosaur who's won fuck all in league football for a couple of decades. He underestimated the Prem and his arrogance has come back to haunt him. West Ham deserve CL more than they do, and i'm pretty certain Man U will end up 6th at best.

Agreed United are a club in size similar to Barca, Bayern Munich etc but they are currently an average team with a nuts overrated manager.

Remember Liverpool where the biggest club in the land at the end of the 80's after decades of success but then they stagnated.

United have perhaps 3-4 years to turn this around or they will end up like Liverpool, a team with huge history and commercial success but an average footballing side in decline.

I think most United fans are aware of this and Van Gaal will lead them nowhere. Does make you realise how good Fergie was though.

Bigger team and yet they have still only mustered 2 shots on target against us in 180 minutes of league football this season

It scares me, really does. We could have been playing the kind of football Utd is playing right now with fuck knows who playing for us. Some of our football right now is awesome at times, I feel very very fortunate having Poch at the club. What a horrible mistake we could have made though.

Bigger? Sure.

But nowhere near as good.

Villa and Newcastle are bigger than Leicester in all the same ways Man U are bigger than us and just like them (Leicester) we could not give less of a fuck.
