I think with the money they're throwing about people may think someone too good for them will join at some point making them a bigger threat assuming they keep payet. Thankfully though all the players they have gone after them have told them to fuck off.
They've probably met the Dildo Brothers and Miss Piggy, and heard about their fans. I think that would make most players give WHU the finger.

AZ fans now claiming we've had a 4th bid accepted, and he'll join imminently.

They're resigned to losing him now.

EDIT : May or may not be bollocks from the 'FootballInsider' article...

They seem to have got that from an outlet called football insider. Don't think it's the most reliable.

Pretty sure it's a spin off from that Wayne Veysey at goal. They used to be decent on Spurs but that was mainly Stobart who is now at Sqwawka (great twitter follow btw)

Yeah remember Stobart being one of the main men for Spurs news. Not sure he's as well connected these days but definitely one of the ones to follow like you say.

I think his source is near the top table and still viable, but he's likely been asked to share less. Jason Burt was the guy that was good for AVB info.

Has Jansen become a better player because right now he's our only target and only chance to
Get a half decent player in? We do need a striker to rival Kane in 6 weeks time. Not a year or two. If we can get a goal scorer either side of Kane that will help,
thats what im worried about, if we get boufal too, i would be happy with it, we lack a a creative dribbler in this side who can make something out of nothing, too many times last season we failed to break teams down, the bus parkers.

I don't see how N'Jie or Chadli would merit starting ahead of Berahino in a CF position, or even WF. He's got more goals than they have in the league.
Njie has only played 184 mins (equivalent of 2 games) so not a fair comparison. It took Berahino, a player who knows and is used to the league, 205 mins to score his first goal last season*.

Son scored the same amount of goals as Berahino last season*, plus got an assist (to Berahino's 0) in 637 less mins.

*When I say last season, I mean 15/16 season.

Tottenham target Vincent Janssen's agent comments on latest developments with AZ

http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/07/0...ent-janssens-agent-comments-on-latest-devel/?

Vincent Janssen's agent has told Dutch reporters that current club AZAlkmaar have banned the striker from a planned television appearance.

The Tottenham Hotspur transfer target expressed his frustration at the Dutch side last week in an interview with AD Sportwereld, lamenting their high asking price blocking his move to the Premier League.

Now the Eredivisie club have moved to dismiss any repeats of Janssen's comments, by ensuring a pre-planned appearance on Dutch Euro 2016 show Studio France with Henry Schut on public broadcaster NOS did not go ahead, report the channel.

Janssen's agent told NOS' website: "The club prohibits Vincent his performance on the NOS for all transfer troubles surrounding his person."

This is the latest instance of the relationship between Janssen and his employers turning sour, with the striker publicly stating he wanted a move to Tottenham and would consider it a 'blow' if it does not happen.

The 21-year-old was the Eredivisie's top goalscorer last season and has established himself as the Netherlands' national side's first choice

Tottenham have made bids for Janssen but are yet to meet AZ Alkmaar's asking price, which is believed to be under £20 million.

The club played their first pre-seaosn friendly at the weekend but Janssen did not feature, although he has returned to training.
