People comparing this to the Njie and Nkoudou signings need to remember that they were made by a different scouting team, and that Hitchen is regarded as an expert in the French market.
Marcel is also young enough where we can slot him into the U21 team with no problem and give him regular game time and time to adapt to England there before putting too much/any first team pressure on him.
It's also kinda hilarious/sad that because 3 French signings have not panned out/delivered yet there are people writing the entire country off
Especially if the head of our new scouting team specializes in French footballAnd its a league we will probably continue to go back to as its one that at least retains some sense of value.

Been a while since we had a decent fro in the lillywhitesNice fro, bro...
The signings of Nkoudou and Njie are low risk high reward, we're essentially loaning these players by getting them in for low fees and if they don't impress we can easily make our money back on them, my only concern would be that we start to get a negative reputation.
Then again, at times he reminds me more about a young Gordon Durie.looks and plays like a young Ruud Gullit you never know!
Zip it.Has some real zip.
I appreciate players with a lot of zippiness.
