I've always liked Holtby as an impact sub. Come on with 20-30 mins left and let him run around like an energized puppy dog while the opposition is losing their legs.

Him and Townsend and Capoue knocking the balls into 'em...

i like Behovic, but the rest are relegation fodder especially with Hughes in charge.

Surely Dawson realises he hasn't aswell now, 5th choice it seems atm. I'm not sure dier starts if Vlad and Jan were injury free and fully fit.

Wasn't dawson injured for the last friendly? Maybe hasn't recovered?

Look at United and their lack of depth. We have strength in depth at last, this is only the first game of a very long season. Players will get game time due to the number of matches, injuries and suspensions. Don't read too much into the first line-up of the season.

To be fair to Poch, he's yet to see Verts, Dembele, Paulie and Chadli in a match so is expect them to play on Thursday. Don't understand why Vorm not on bench...injured or is this due to the dispute Swansea have?
