Barkleys injured?

It would have made no difference, Barkley is injured?
I agree we need him and hope we get him in Jan but he would have made no difference to our start

Barkley won’t be fit till January?

Barkley is still injured with a hammy tear, so signing him would have made no difference to our season so far.

He's injured though so wouldn't have played anyway.

Well why let facts get in the way

And what crock him for another 6 months

These types of comments make me laugh ... what exactly do you base this on ?
The FACT he is on the bench means he isn't going to break down if called upon (obvious conditions) otherwise you are saying the medical team at our club are incompetent !

There was an interview/comments at the beginning of the week where HW stated that he was still feeling some pain and easing back in to playing. Thats what i'm basing it on

Best role for Sissoko so not too concerned.

Poch's comments reinforce that Dembele is like king. got to pick and choose his games, unfortunate for him and us

Aurier is a big plus but I feel we’re missing a trick by not playing Son, leaving us lop sided with pace only on our right side. Don’t get me wrong, Davies has been really good recently but the dynamic of our team is all wrong especially since we no one who can pass the ball in the middle.

Son is always the one to drop out. Dare I say it, would it have been devastating to have Dele on the bench with Son starting?

If Sissoko could put in a great showing today then that would leave me feeling less concerned about Dembele being out. And if N'Koudou can come on and make a difference it would be very encouraging for our strength in in depth.

Please put on a showing today lads.

Drop Eriksen deeper and bring in Son for Sissoko. Yet we opt to play Sissoko of whom we tried to offload right through the window. Hopefully Poch’s squad meal the other night will have built some bonds between the players.

Why did Dembele play against Barnsley? Absolute madness. Probably the most bizarre decision Pochettino has ever made.
I assumed it would be so he's available for the midweek Champions league game while still keeping up his match fitness. The win against Dortmund means we can really give our group a big push
