Ohara: SELL 5m - Love his enthusiasm but just don't think he's good enough for a top premier league team
Lennon: KEEP - Can be amazing just needs work on his distribution

Ekotto: SELL 1.5m - Not good enough

Chimbo and O'Hara between them could easily value up to 10 million in the english market these days so over bloated as it is currently so whats your point ?

+ your telling me that we couldn't get £3million for Lee ???

Examples:

Phil Bardsley - 2m to Sunderland
Ben Tozer - 1m to Newcastle
Andy Reid - 4m to Sunderland
Wayne Routledge - 2m to Aston Villa
Gary Cahill - 5m to Bolton
James McFadden - 5m to Birmingham
Robbie Savage - 1.5m to Derby

^^ These are just some examples over an over inflated, over priced UK market!!!

"Aaron Lennon looks to be on his way out of White Hart Lane as boss Juande Ramos starts his Spurs cull.
Ramos is set to make mass changes in the summer and has already challenged his current squad of players to impress him in the remainder during the remainder of the season.
However, the former Sevilla boss has already lost patience with England winger Lennon, according to reports".

he's a one trick pony, and not a very good pont when you realise that he cant kick with his left foot. he is supposed to be our Ronaldo for goodness sake!!!

For me i'd go with this, with new player suggestions in red, players to keep in blue

First XI:

Amelia
Hutton | Jarque/King | Woodgate | Bale
Farfan | Diego | Huddlestone | ?
Berbatov | Keane/Bent

Second XI of:

Kameni
Gunter | Dawson | Kaboul | Ekotto
Malbranque | Jenas | Zokora | Gilberto
? | Keane/Bent

Young players for the future to be kept in the squad: Taarabt, KPB, Rose, Dervite, Peckhart, O'Hara

So I reckon we can sell:
Chimbonda (£5m), Gardner (£2m), Stalteri (£3m), Lennon (£10m), Robinson (£5m), Lee (£3m), Rocha (£2m) Tainio (£3m) & Ghaly (£3m) - TOTAL: £36m

And buy:
Amelia (£9m), Jarque (£9m), Farfan (£13m), Diego (£17m), Kameni (£6m), ? Striker (£7m), ? LW (£10m) - TOTAL: £71m

So a net spend of about £35m.

hudds shooting is shocking. he can strike a ball so cleanly but you only have to look at his scoring record to see for all the ability he has he doesnt score near enough. hudd cant/wont tackle which for a centre mid just isnt good enouh. granted his range of passing is great but thats his only asset. as a centre mid he doesnt have the speed, mobility or athleticism to be a top player. not saying ohara is going to be world class but he has some pace, creativity and a good engine which we need more then we need hudd

Hudd over O'Hara anyday of the weak. Hudd can see openings, play strikers in, in a way O'Hara could only ever dream of, as a striker i know who i would rather have supplying my service. Get a Donkey to do the spade work

I would get rid of Lennon, I can see him playing in the Championship. All he has is pace, he cant shoot, his delivery breaks down alot of our attacks. I also feel that he's not disciplined, likes the to go and get drunk and hang out in clubs. I have had enough of him, to be honest. We should have cashed in at the end of last season

SWP has so much more to his game then Lennon. Although Lennon played better than SWP in the cup final; if we had SWP at Spurs playing every game like Lennon does, he would be by far a better all round team player to have.

Despite the fact that his shooting is actually even more inaccurate than Lennon's, that there's very little to choose between them as far as passing and tackling go, and that SWP gives away four times as many free kicks? Sure, whatever.

SWP is better at: shooting, passing, crossing, heading (yes!)

Lennon is a better dribbler.

Have you actually seen O'hara play? How would we possibly get anywhere near £5million for him? It is definitely delusion and borderline retarded.

Andy Reid is an International footballer and he went for £4million.

Chimbonda is 29/30 if we got more than £5million I would laugh my ass off.

O'Hara is young and is also an England under 21 International and probably has a fairly decent future ahead of him. Just not with spurs in my eyes and if you can't see that O'Hara could possibly leave for that amount then it is you who is retarded or cheap imho...I can't decide which :duh:

Andy reid is a fat lard arse yet commanded 4m to Sunderland. International or not he is total shite. Gary Cahill & James McFadden also went for around 5m each too so I fail to see why we couldn't command around that area for an England u21 International like O'Hara

As for Chimbonda. Well I happen to still like and rate the player (not his attitude) but he's a very good footballer and perhaps my estimation is a little high regarding him but you never know in the UK market.

Levy mate I think your general 'hating of players' clouds your judgement sometimes as I know your not O'Hara's biggest fan from your post in another thread.

I don't hate any of Spurs' players. It just annoys me considerably when the rose tinted glasses brigade (and you're not one of them) jump on the bandwagon and start believing that O'hara, Dawson and Huddlestone are world beaters.

I would also like to add that although Reid may be a "fat piece of shit" in your mind, it doesn't take a rocket scinetist to see that he is a superior footballer to O'hara.

Chimbonda is our 2nd choice RB and like I said I would LOL my ass off if we recoup anything more than £3million for him.

Ok well... here's my 2 cents:

Robinson: KEEP - He's not had a good season, we all know that but he is still a solid keeper when he has confidence.. the only problem is if we get a top quality keeper in will he be willing to stay on the bench...? I doubt it..
Chimbonda: KEEP - I'm not a fan of his attitude but there is no doubt he is a very good player, we should keep him
Lee: SELL- I do quite like him but with players like Bale and Gunter coming through I dont see him having much of a future with us.
Zokora: KEEP- Valuable squad player and has got better and better as this season has progressed
Kaboul: KEEP- Young and talented, needs time and more experience.
Tainio: SELL - Another player I'm fond of, but I think now is time for him to move on
Stalteri: SELL- Time's up for him I think.
Jenas: KEEP- Inconsistent yes, but we would be very foolish to sell him, he is a great box to box player and we need him.
Berbatov: KEEP- Who would we replace him with? We need him badly.
Keane: KEEP- Obviously
Gilberto: KEEP- Will be here next season, not enough time to form an opinion yet.
Malbranque: KEEP- Fantastic squad player, works hard and I like him a lot.
Bale: KEEP- An obvious one again, could be fantastic... just hope he stays fit.
Boateng: KEEP- I'd give him another season to prove himself though Ive been less than impressed so far.
Taarabt: KEEP- No idea about this guy, looks like he could be terrible but there is enough about him to keep him around and hope he turns into the player we think he could be.
Dawson: KEEP- Great squad player, has had a dodgy season but he has great qualities.
Huddlestone: KEEP- Very talented and I like him a lot.
Bent: KEEP- Have been very impressed with him recently, the guy scores goals and thats what we all like to see.
Ohara: KEEP - Ok he might never set the world on fire but he's a good squad player and we should hang on to him.
Lennon: KEEP- Hasnt had the best season but he's young, incredibly quick and could still become fantastic.
King: KEEP- An other obvious one, keep him and hope he stays fit.
Hutton: KEEP- We obviously wont be selling him, has been impressive so far.
Ekotto: KEEP - Injuries have wrecked his season but he has some potential there, if he can get fit there is a chance he could impress Ramos.
Rocha: SELL- I think he could be useful around the squad due to his experience, but the fact is that it's unlikely this guy is going to get much game time from now on.
Woodgate: KEEP- Another obvious one, he's top class.
Gunter: KEEP- Potential is there.

Hehe good I'm glad you see that

Hmmm dunno to be honest. If I was forced to take only 1 of them for my team it would be O'Hara every time for me but I guess it's all about opinions so fair enough

Chimbonda is our 2nd choice RB and like I said I would LOL my ass off if we recoup anything more than £3million for him.

Then I think you may well be Laughing your arse off as he's a very decent right back and has done a good job for us in his time with Spurs. He's certainly a mercenary I think but still, a good Right Back and I think we will get that kind of money. We'll have to see I guess.

^ Are those stat-based 'facts'?

I think people forget just how good SWP was at Man City, Lennon could only dream of scoring some of the goals he put away for them.

They're facts, and if stats only tell part of the story they tell rather more of it than 10 minutes of MOTD or YouTube clips. GL makes the blithe assertion, based on fuck knows what, that SWP is 'better' at shooting than Lennon. Well, that wouldn't be hard, but the fact is that they've both scored two league goals this season; SWP has taken a lot more shots (33 to 9) but two-thirds of them have been off-target, as opposed to one-third of Lennon's. Better?

I haven't forgotten how good SWP was at City, but City was a long time ago. His old man's right; moving to Chelsea completely buggered his progress. Jol was reportedly very keen on signing him this summer, which would have been a great move for him and us, but I'd say that on the whole both he and Lennon have been less than impressive this season.

Think we should keep alot more than we think as we must realise although our squad isn't perfect we do actually have some very very good players. The only main problems are:
Our lack of a solid quality goalkeeper
Our inconsistent defence due to King and Bale this season,Hutton and Woodgate have massively improved it.
Our lack of creativity in midfield in either CM or on the wings.
Our lack of a consistent leader on the field.

Apart from that we have a great squad and under Ramos next season with a New CB CM and LM we'll have a squad not only capeable of breaking into the top4 but beating them on the odd occasion.

The like of:Bale,Woodgate,Hutton,Lennon,Berbatov,Keane are all top top class players. We could just do with a more consistent balenced line-up and we'd massively improve.
