re your 'Longevity' paragraph... firstly you have no idea if he'll be manager come the start of next season, there is every chance he will.
So you are saying his style of putting an arm around players and then clearly getting the best out of players which has taken us to the quarter finals of champions league can't work any further? of course it can, it's highly successful man management that has clearly worked elsewhere.
The problem is Harry not being allowed to grow the team as he wants, Levy is dictating the transfer policy. Harry took a team of players to be fair not world class and overachieved in taking us the champions league quarters. He'd love to push us forward with big stars and win the league, he's said that. He needs though to be given total control of the club to achieve this.
Levy has done a great job in stabilising the club and moving us forward from a horrendous 20 year period where everyone else apart from Spurs fan would argue the claim that Spurs is a big club. Now though those of you that argue that Harry has done well but cannot take us further need to consider making that point about Levy.
Or maybe we simply cannot afford to play with the big boys, the game has been decimated by billionaires using the most popular sporting league in the world as their play thing and paying wages of £200+ per week just to say ooh look I won!
Look at just one example of many, Harry clearly wants Diarra and has done for some time, Levy has been negotiating but cannot convince him to come because we can't or won't pay him what he wants... How is this Harrys fault? It's clear if you look back over the last 3 years that's we have missed out on many top tranfers target due to money, wages etc.... we're are club in a good financial position due to Levy but then maybe we have to accept our level unless Joe Lewis is going to throws billions at it or we are brought out by an Abu Dhabi billionaire who wants a little north London plaything.
