Why is Dembele being frozen out?

Playing very well at the minute and no mention of the old hip injury. As someone else said looks an awful lot fitter as well, love to see him score the winner on Sunday

Parker has had lots of injures during his career, he was getting on in footballing years and we definitely needed a new player in that position. Kaboul had a good brief patch but he's a player we should not have brought back to the club again once we got rid of him the first time around. On the whole he just wasn't good enough. Townsend has good qualities but he needs help with his decision making. In short I'm saying injuries are not to blame why these players did not perform.
In Dembele's case if his hip stopped him from taking more shots on goal, I really would have expected to hear something by now. A quote from Poch at the very least.

Poch doesn't talk about matters unnecessarily. Most of what he has spoken about were just answers to questions asked.

Why hasn't anyone in the media asked him about it? Why hasn't Dembele spoken about it himself?

I can't believe no one has mentioned this. He looks 5-10kgs lighter and much, much fitter. I assume this was mandated by Poch in order to fit into his style of play. I have always supported him and feel that he is our best all-around player. The goals are welcomed but they don't really affect my perception of his ability, contribution and importance to our squad.

Have a feeling Nacer had something to do with that....
Chadli is lighter, quicker and stronger than he was last season. He is a better player, more useful to the team and one of the men Mauricio Pochettino will always count on when it matters. His is a story of individual improvement, of seizing a chance that could have slipped away. Chadli puts it down to a new focus and his new diet, devised at an Italian health centre in July.

“I was learning there how to eat the best way, because you have to eat a certain way to help your body recover as fast as possible,” recalls Chadli, who was recommended Hotel Merano by Mr and Mrs Vincent Kompany, while Karim Benzema has also been there. “They take your blood and analyse what you can eat, what your body can’t handle or afford.”

The result is that Chadli is now dairy free. “They gave me advice, and I don’t drink milk any more. Only sometimes soya milk. And I don’t eat cheese.

“I eat a certain amount of fruit and vegetables, and it is better to eat fruit before a meal. Normally, I was eating fruit after as a dessert, but it is better to eat it before. I am allowed to eat meat one or two times maximum a week, and for the rest a lot of fish and chicken. I think it has helped me,” Chadli adds. “I lost a bit of weight.”

Fucking fair play to the lad. Went from being someone who looked like they could be on their way out to someone who is looking to cement their place in the side.

Not meant as a criticism but more an observation from today's game that in the 2H he disappeared somewhat not helped by the fact the Ref decided to stop us pressing by giving the gooners freekicks every time they lost possession. Ended up with them swarming our players knowing the Ref was unlikely to call a foul.

He bossed the midfield today. With a bit more self belief, this lad is not short of being a top draw player

He's on a good run and he's being more aggressive.

Definite progress.

He is so fooooking strong on the ball.

I'd be interested to know his height and weight because I've literally never seen anyone out muscle him its ridiculous.

Some people have just got this strength about them and know how to use their whole body as a unit of strength. That's Mousa.

Great to have such a strong player in our pool.

I haven't got much to add to what I've said already Daniel, he needs to keep up the good form and continue to improve for the rest of the season whether it's against sides like scumnal and ****ski or against sides like currybang.

Dan is short for Daniel, take it as a term of endearment.
You can call me Mullery if you like even though it's not my real name.

Yeah my name isn't Dan either, it's just a username lol

But I get why you're always angry at me now :D

Go on Mullers. You can say it.

Dembele was very good today.
