I don't care whether you think it's right or wrong. I just want to know if you think AVB will be sacked following yesterdays game.

No, I don't. Technically, there are 3 cups up for grabs and still time to turn things around. Yes, it's optimistic and no, I'm not convinced that it will happen.

This isn't the main reason really. The main reason would be because there are limited options out there, and better options will be available after the World Cup. If we let AVB go now and get someone to stand in until after the World Cup then we've effectively written the season off. I don't think that sends out a good message to the players.

Edit: Another result like the one yesterday in the next few weeks will be a nail in the coffin though. If he's going to be sacked they need to do it before the January transfer window.

If he was going to sack him, it would have been last night.

If we play poorly v West Ham and lose then I don't think Levy will have any choice

Problem is AVB is Levy's man. If he gets rid he's admitting he got it completely wrong whilst at the same time having given him 100m quid to play with!!

Well according to out esteemed insider knowledge folks he's already gone and we're just waiting on the official announcement.

That, or they let their collective guards down and showed their true colours.

I think he will be given the Southampton game, lose that its P45 time

We need a new manager in place for Jan 1st so we can get signings in Jan, or give AVB the rest of the season

Still waiting to hear from Gards, Atlanta, Ali Z, Ryan and JJ who all indicated Avb was on his way.

Levy pulling the trigger is surely a futile excerise. What Avb needs is support though thick and thin, and as a club we need continuity. Unless he has lost the dressing room, and all recent mutterings from our players suggest he has not, replacing him would be more humiliating imo, than getting humped by 5 goals.

Edit: impeccable timing as ever.

I thought he would go last night, maybe he has and it hasn't been announced yet. It just seemed certain... AVB looked broken, Levy looked pissed off, the Lane was empty, the players completely lost.

If we haven't heard anything today then I guess he dodged the bullet. I would give him till the end of the season (partly because I don't see any great available candidates, but also to see if he can put his tactical game plan in place because I agree with large parts of it) but there has to be a response and he can ill afford another game where we are well beaten.

I voted yes. Because he just has. I guess we can put this one to bed now.

Well, shows how much I know! I'm glad I'm not a gambling man! :D
