No, I don't. Technically, there are 3 cups up for grabs and still time to turn things around. Yes, it's optimistic and no, I'm not convinced that it will happen.
This isn't the main reason really. The main reason would be because there are limited options out there, and better options will be available after the World Cup. If we let AVB go now and get someone to stand in until after the World Cup then we've effectively written the season off. I don't think that sends out a good message to the players.
Edit: Another result like the one yesterday in the next few weeks will be a nail in the coffin though. If he's going to be sacked they need to do it before the January transfer window.
