Federer in trouble here alright. Break down at the start of the 5th.

Just makes it easier for Nadal to win it out though.

Meh. Tsonga deserves it, but that's a shadow of the Federer of old.

From bettingzone.co.uk :

1625: Stay tuned for a big shake-up in the men's singles market at Wimbledon as six-time champion Roger Federer is out after throwing away a 2-0 lead to lose against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Centre Court. One thing I can tell you is over £7.5million was traded on Federer on Betfair at prices of 1.08 or lower. Ouch

Ouch indeed!

Gotta say, I did want Tsonga to win but would have loved to have seen a Djokovic/Federer semi-final as there seems to be/has previously been a bit of tension between the two but I think Tsonga may be just as tough a challenge for Djokovic if not more so.

Am glad Bartoli is out though, my god I had a bit of respect for her in the end as she gave a warm hand shake and waited for her opponent to walk off the court and stuff but in matches she is the most annoying tennis player I've ever set eyes on. I already knew this but have avoided watching any of her matches until yesterday and I'll only ever watch her again if shes in a match that she's likely to lose.

Well done the Wilf.

Now all we need is for the Fish to beat Nadal and we can all look forward to Murray losing in the final to Djokovic.

Before this result, Federer had a record of 178-0 after winning the first couple of sets in grandslam tournaments

Murray comfortably through to the semi-finals, probably to face Nadal. Should be a good game.

Will be disappointing if Murray doesn't even get a set against Nadal. I certainly think he can win but it's just whether he steps up well enough.

If anyone in Britain doesn't want a Murray/Tsonga final after todays events I will slap them.

I'd be happy with that. Their final at Queens was good, could handle more of the same.

Nigel Sears has quit head of womens tennis at the LTA to coach Ana Ivanovic. Can't say I blame him. I'd love to work on her back hand.
