With Big Sam saying West Ham are skint, we should try and negotiate a cheap Jan deal for him if we can find someone stupid enough to meet our asking price for Kaboul.

Reid is a player whose performances I've never really paid too much attention to (same of most Wham players tbh). How is his pace? Decent fit as partner to one or both of Verts and Fazio?

Not really. He's quick and strong, but is very poor on the ball. He's not a Poch type player

Reminds me a bit of Christopher Samba

But teams within the same league as West Ham are not allowed to talk to Reid yet so this must be bullshiiiiieeeeeet.

He's a proper defender IMO. I couldn't give two fucks what he's like on the ball really. We already have a very good ball playing CB in Vertonghen.

He's quick, strong and actually very agile for a CB - i'd say he's one of the most agile CB's I've seen. He's quick on the turn as a result and has a quick change of direction.

A West ham college of mine has said for months(before he looked like he was going to leave) that he is good but lacks concentration and ideally needs a leader next to him to guide him.

Reid is decent. Loves a tackle and wins all his headers. A good leader as well. Great attributed for a centre half. West ham fans are gutted he is leaving which speaks volumes
