How much would Patrik Schick cost from Leverkusen? Tall, strong, can finish, good age profile. Already has 6 in 7 games in the budesliga, think he'd be a perfect addition to the squad.
Looks like he's started to come into his own now after avergae spells at Roma and Leipzig. Maybe he has found the right club/role.

Would work very well alongside Sonny.

I know this is going to sound a bit weird but we don't need that much.

Kessie on a pre-contract would be fantastic, wouldn't be against lingard as well.

Alot depends on the players we have and how they progress, still waiting if ndombele, lo Celso, reguillon, Emerson, sessegnon, bergwijn etc.. progress. I would wait and see, I don't want us to sign average players that block the progression of other players.

Next season we could have sarr, sess, Gil, parrot, Scarlett who could be ready/close to the first team.

For January it would be concentrating on making more space and selling the likes of winks, Doherty, Dele and Davies to free up spaces.

Only players who go straight into the first team or highly promising youngsters. So for me kessie and selling what we can.

Agreed. We've snagged a couple of OK strikers from Leverkusen over the years ?.

Having watched a fair bit of German football lately, and following Gladbach closely, I also like Matthias Ginter if we're looking at a new CB. Wouldn't be cheap, but is the type of player we should be targeting.

I can unfortunately see Kessie going to Newcastle. They will likely throw bags of cash at him and sell him the dream. Just a hunch though tbf.

When England won the U17's world cup in 2017, the most hyped players were Foden, Sancho, Brewster and Hudson Odoi, but I the one that stood out for me was Morgan Gibbs-White, but he was pretty phsically small. I thought he'd go on to be a start over the next couple of years, but he never even became a regular for Wolves and he fell of the radar a bit. A few weeks ago I watched Sheff Utd, hoping to see Sander Berge (who I think is a fantastic potential signing), who wasn't actually playing due to injury and none other than MGW was playing for them and he was fantastic. He's physically filled out so much. I think he'll become the next in the line of really talented English attacking midfield talent, following on from Foden, Gealish and Maddison etc. He's only on loan at Sheff Utd unfortunately, so to get him out of Wolves will cost a fair bit, but I think he's exactly the kind of player we should be prepared to heavily invest in.

MGW, Sander Berge and Paulinha are players I'd love us to sign in Jan. Obviously we need creative talent, but I think we also need at least one, but probably 2, CM's. I don't rate Winks highly enough and NDombele isn't an ideal Prem CM in my opinion. I think people tend to over complicate what's needed in CM. I just see it as really hard to win the midfield battle, if you are playing against tall, athletic, agressive players, who are also good on the ball. I see Berge and Paulinha as nightmare pairing to go up against.

I'm not that bothered about signing a striker. I see so many teams doing better than us without a recognised classic CF, that I don't get the fuss.
I'd love Morgan Gibbs-White.

We need to do something in January . We have to finish the season in the top 6 at least to keep attracting players longer term.
We need to improve now.
Once / if Newcastle start making steps up the table they will be looking at similar calibre players to us in future Windows and blow us out the water with financial packages making the transfer market further competitive.

Ben Brereton Diaz at Blackburn could be an interesting signing, we will be looking for strikers soon. He is now an international for Chile as he has a Chilean mother and he is bang on form second behind Mitrovic in Championship scorers chart.

Yeah I mentioned Ginter earlier - he would be cheap as his contract is up in the summer! We should be all over him/Sule as well as Kessie.

I’m glad there are other people out there that had Gibbs-White take their eye. He is a fantastic talent that will get better as he matures, you can absolutely see that. He’s having a bit of a flat period and we should get in there while his stock is low. I hope having Nuno here helps us snap him up.

Vlahovic feels like that would be for next summer. Id be shocked if we make a splash in January. More likely we’ll try to sign Kessie or someone on a pre contract early & try to make it immediate toward the end of the window, IMO. That &/or a young player from the Americas(north or south) as they’ll be in offseason.

I’d look at Adeyemi or Aaronson from Salzburg on buy & loan back though. Not ready for the prem yet but i think both have very bright futures.

Wouldnt be surprised if the club is keeping tabs on Eriksen developments as well. If he can still play but cant in Italy due to a pacemaker, we might try to bring him back as we still havent replaced him.
We should be all over RB Salzburg anyway, their scouting in the last few years was nothing short but incredible. Adeyemi is now a full international for Germany though so probably already out of reach - he´ll be off to one of the big German sides before long. Aaronson and Benjamin Sesko would be the stand-outs atm

Locking up the signing of Kessie in either Jan or next summer should be the ultimate priority.

The guy would genuinely transform our midfield.

Antony and Raphinha were very lively for Brazil when they entered the field tonight.

Raphinha is probably a bit out of reach but Antony is even better, a lot of technical quality and he can deliver in the final third too.
