... true; but a bit of confidence building can go along wayBigger game to come, good result and some nice periods of play but really these guys are 6th in the Austrian league. West Ham will be the test at the weekend.

Ok. So, for the Jose out folks, I hope you were paying attention to the dumb freekick Sissoko gave away at the end of the first half. And then the god awful penalty he conceded early second half. Do you see why so many others keep saying this isn’t just a coaching problem, but also players making catastrophic mistakes again and again and again. And u see how it messes with the confidence of the team? That has plagued us all season. That is a perfect example of how it is so easy for our players to crumble when zillions of mistakes happen.
Let’s talk about the most important thing of the night - Ian Darke’s frankly bizarre commentary. He’s suddenly started putting absurd accents onto names - Lucas Moura and when he mentioned Bruno Fernandes were first half highlights, which I put down to pretentiousness but then he refereed to Ben Davies as Daveesh. Then he spent the whole second half talking as it spurs were getting humped. Very odd.

Either that or he’s been hanging around with Steve Mclaren. It was bizarre. Budapesht, Fernandesh. He must be doing a language course with a very hot teacher and he is trying to impress her
The whole media narrative surrounding Spurs is odd, even JJ was at it. I had to check I was watching the same game.Let’s talk about the most important thing of the night - Ian Darke’s frankly bizarre commentary. May I quote @Shadydan here?Dele has 2 big issues - he has no acceleration and he can’t kick the ball hard. He must have fallen over 15 times today because he is easy to crowd out as he can’t get away from players quick enough. It also means he has to trick his way past defenders which quite often doesn’t come of so he loses the ball very cheaply.
He has always lacked a decent shot which it really essential for an attacking midfielder. I can’t see him getting many more games at Spurs no matter who the manager is.

Dele was good today. Nice to see that.
Sissoko and Doherty didn’t even look like professionals out there, but what’s new?
