Messi has lost some quickness, no way Hummels should be able to get 'that' close.

Very good point, Gooners will be boasting that they have world cup winners in their squad. C'mon the Argies...
They were moaning on talksport saying he was one of Germanies best players and Low was a fool for dropping Mertesacker and not playing Podolski

Reasons to support Argentina:

1. Messi
2. Lamela
2. Pochettino
3. Villa and Ardilles
4. Ozil, Podolski and Mertesacker are playing for Germany (Podolski's not starting but same thing)

Point 1 is enough for me. Just want to see Messi lift the World Cup so I can say I've seen perhaps the greatest player in history win it all.

Now the mighty Fred has retired from international duty I think they can beat Brazil next time.

Guessing you've forgotten about the mighty Jo. No way Argentina can beat Brazil when they've got Jo up front.

Martin Tyler mentioned something earlier about the German squad and this possibly being the last world cup for quite a few them. They only have 3 players in the entire squad 30 or over.

I have said this a couple of times during the tournament and also when commenting on Barca matches I have seen last season. He's lost that sustained burst of pace.
