You know who is in Miami? Someone who can play right-mid, pretty decent on free kicks, someone Poch knows....Levy has gone to sign David Beckham

It's possible he is there to make some deals, loans etc.
Beckham said that he wants to sign some either English players or players from the PL.
Good opportunity?

Nkoudou, another lovely cameo and a confident penalty too. I’m genuinely perplexed as to how he’s not deemed good enough to be a sixth choice attacking midfielder.

Also, where the flurk was Dele?

The issue with Nkoudou appears to be in his head. It shows itself on the pitch as a lot of great moves and then a loss of concentration when the end product is required. That's what I saw today as well. When I watched him in Youtube clips around the time we signed him, he looked seriously fast - Lennon fast - but since he joined us we've seen none of that acceleration, Lucas is considerably quicker. So is Son. My suspicion is that he doesn't work hard enough to meet Pochettino's standards.

As others have mentioned, Dele has done a hamstring.

Tick tock Levy.. because if we don’t there is no way IMO we will improve on last year.
The way we can improve on last year is by having a properly-rested squad with a full pre-season. Our players simply wore out last season - ran out of steam, leading to a title challenge disappearing into smoke over the last 2 months of the season.

Our full back options are shocking. Rose is the only one good enough at the club. I really do not understand why people can’t see this? Seems pretty obvious to me where our weakness is!

They do, they're just aware that there's a lack of decent RB's in world football now, I'd say that Robertson and Trent could be argued as the best in the world in their position atm, possibly the bayern left back/Madrid Lb Mendy also but there's a serious lack of talent there, we're signing Sessegnon and trying to develop Foyth/Aurier/KWP. I agree it's not ideal in terms of a perfect 11 but right now it seems our best option.

Aarons signed a new deal and we would have gone for him I have no doubt. Chillwell possibly but he's more valuable than Maguire such is the scarcity of fullbacks and having seen the way Leicester negotiated Mahrez and Maguire, it's a no go.

I don’t know how anybody can have watched Walker-Peters today and not be excited by his potential.
He's a good young player who really needs a run in the side, and the confidence of his manager. And not playing at left back.

Why we haven’t gone for Doherty at wolves is beyond me. We can’t even sign Aarans from Norwich? I don’t believe it. Sure it might cost around 30/40m but that’s the going rate. I bet the other champions league clubs would get the deal done if they desperately needed a RB like we do.

Excited? I like the kid but he’s not the answer. Good going forward but that said his end product needs to improve. Defensively he was poor, at fault for the goal and caught out. As I’ve said I like him but he ain’t ready.

He'll only get ready by playing. Robertson and TAA weren't elite right backs when Liverpool bought them. The manager had confidence in them and they trained on. Virtually every full back on earth's "end product needs to improve."

Arnold is a much better player. We need improvements at right back. We were weak there last season and we are even weaker as it stands. Even if KWP is the answer (which I don’t think he is) we need back up. Aurier is a distaster and foyth is not what we need. Again like foyth, he will be good for us, but at centre half in a 2 or on the right side of a back 3, he’s not quick enough or offers enough going forward as a right back in a back 4.

He’s going to be class if he gets pitch time.

Aurier isn't a "disaster". Don't be silly. He's a competent right back who played a role in our run to the CL final. His problem is the injuries.

He’s shocking! A walking penalty or sending off. Injury prone as well. He is far from competent on the evidence of his performances in the last 2 years. Awful signing.
