The A&E tests which I have seen first hand on either end involve asking what happened before the impact? what day is it? who is the prime minister? whats the date? do you remember everything during the impact? did you lose a slight amount of consciousness for a slight second? Do you know whats happening? Do you know where you are? and etc.I'm not entirely sure but I know rugby is starting to introduce pitchside concussion assessments. Also, the NFL has a list of signs (e.g. confusion, etc.) that results in the player having to be removed from the game straight away.
