USA my surprise pick for group G

That is a great group. Germany will have enough in them to go through but it'll be tough. USA, Ghana and Portugal are all teams that can give you a hard time. I'll watch every game of that group.

Filipe Luis should have been picked instead of Maxwell.

Is Carlo Costly for Honduras a wind up!?
And what's with Nigeria taking four keepers? Have they got a Schumacher as their number one?!?

I think Lamela will be picked for Argentina provisional squad but What about Klose making the world cup squad for Germany, its insane. One goal and klose becomes the all time joint top scorer in world cups.

I love how he recently came out and said this world cup will be his last:LOL:

Max Meyer and Goretzka could make the Germany squad :woot: Add Höwedes and Draxler, maybe Fährmann if I'm being optimistic and that's 5 Schalke boys, not to mention Sidney Sam who's joining in the summer

Pretty happy with the squad, don't understand choosing Khedira over Gündogan though, both been out for a long time but Ilkay is better.

Great to see Goretzka, Meyer, Volland, Ginter and Hahn getting recognition.

Hugo, Vertonghen, Chadli, Bentaleb defo.
Lamela, Capoue, Dembélé, Walker, Townsend are doubts because of injuries (i.e. if they weren't injured, they would be going)

Lamela was well used during the qualification, and I think the coach is quite fond of him. He's only missed the last call-up to Argentina because he was injured.

what other club can spend £30m on a player, never play him for one reason or another and then see him play for his national team at the WC? You couldnt make it up sometimes...
