Don't know if he's unsung, but Ashley Williams has been brilliant alongside Caulker for Swansea, has shown that there is talent in the Championship that can step up to the PL.

Carrick really been playing well for United 2nd half of the season too.

I'm sorry but Williams has been at fault for most of Swansea's goals he thinks he is beckenbauer and never stays in position, swansea need a new CB for next season or they will suffer without Caulker

Johnny Evans has been outstanding for United, played almost the whole season and has been more of a worthy player to replace Rio and Vidic. People are quick to mock him saying he's shit, but he's been brilliant this year IMO

Jonny Evans has definitely been a unsung hero

Another mention should go to Di Santo at Wigan has done well playing up front for wigan and certainly hasn't looked the striker who had one goal in like 60 games

Jonas at newcastle and probably Coloccini after the stick he got before and you could say best and williamson have done well when called upon

I haven't watched many Wigan games this season but I seem to remember Caldwell being pretty good, has scored some important goals for them as well.

Joe Allen has been excellent as has Ramires and Cabaye but not sure they count as unsung heroes.

Grant Holt has been really good and out of all the English strikers who are good in the air he has been by far the best.

I have to put in a Spurs player. Jermaine Defoe. A goal every 117 minutes and hasn't complained at being on the bench. He frustrates us but this season he has been very good in front of goal. He deserves more acknowledgement for his performances this season.

Martin Atkinson has been going quietly about his business for Chelsea, solid season.

To be honest I think Kaboul has been a little unsung around the Prem this season, but maybe that's a Spurs bias showing.

Scene: The Man United dressing room at Old Trafford.
Opponents: Anyone you like

"Right lads.....we should have this title wrapped up, but we've been sloppy. We can't let those blue moon ****s snatch it now because they'll never let us live it down. They stung us on the Munich anniversary and stuffed us 6-1. Now I don't care what you do or how you do it, punch, elbow, push, pull, kick or dive......get the fuck outthere and get it done'

At this point Alex Ferguson steps in

'Cheers Ref, i'll take it from here'

Ladies and Gentlemen, my winner of the title unsung hero from another club, for the 5th season running........Howard Webb.

Shouts for that big unit that plays for Newcastle, Cheque Tote, Jarvis from Wolves

Coloccini for me. Most of the Newcastle side have had a mention this year, Cabaye, Tiote, Krul, Ba, Cisse etc but rarely Colocinni (except for beats1).
Closely followed by Carrick but then that's the case for most seasons.

Maloney is a top call. Agree fully. Wigan's season literally turned on its axis the day Martinez decided to go 4-3-3 and give Maloney a free role. Bolton and QPR would already be safe if that hadn't happened.

enjoyed watching Holt play a few times this season, he's old, slightly overweight but he has given loads of good premier league centre half's a nightmare.

Dembele has been fantastic for Fulham this season in a much deeper role than he'd ever been played before. I've already mentioned a few times I'd love for us to sign him this summer.
