Lennon has flattered to deceive for ages now. Time he left and we signed someone that is on an upwards curve.

But we don't play a hard pressing game?

We have pressed hard in about three games and people translate that to mean a full season.

We pressed more under Sherwood, AVB and Harry in general.

It's clearly a strategy the manager wants to employ so why keep a slow, immobile, injury prone player with the turning circle of the titanic? It would make no sense.

Like fuck did we press more under Sherwood and Harry.

Hudd can't run. Which is pretty useless for a manager who wants to play a hard pressing game.

I'm not seriously saying he's the answer but Hudd still covers more ground than Capoue who's sat on his arse watching from stands. He was always one of my favourite players because despite his obvious down sides, he's made a good prem career off the back of his strengths and is great to watch.

I don't think Lennon will even want to come back will he? Everton seem to love him and he's playing as well as he has for a long time. What we need is a solid out and out right winger who can do the simple things like crossing well on a consistent basis. I think Chadli is going to keep improving and Townsend can cover for him so we're ok on the left, not to mention Eriksen seems to look better on the left at times. There must be a decent RW out there for us, it doesn't have to be a flashy name.

When Hudd is lying down maybe.

So who's brave enough to say they were wrong and we shouldn't of got rid of him?

Not me. 100% the correct decision. Both the club and Lennon should be very happy things have worked out how they have this far. A change of scenery was by far the best option and may well have saved his career and more.

His obvious downsides being that he was only good enough to start about 20% of the games we played, had the mobility of a small mediterranean island, made Mido look quick and delivered an incisive pass about once every 6 years.

I bet Hull fans have been really entertained this year with all his strengths and wotnot.

Lennon was going to be replaced during the Ramos era, the whole purpose of signing Bentley was that he could cross and shoot but Bentley's attitude was all wrong so Lennon won that battle.

lamela reminds me of bentley, except with a decent attitude. all this farting around with the ball, no end product. he isn't being coached properly. keeps running towards trouble, never into free space.

i'm guessing poch is.. ok, but maybe his staff are FUCKING SHIT. there. i said it.

lennon's up and down form for spurs over the years has coincided with spurs teams of differing overall quality and energy. it's no surprise he's doing well in a team that's style was largely moulded by moyes, a hustle/bustle outfit. spur's movement is poor by comparison, it's quite apalling..

Yep I've also been wondering about the coaching side, Poch is the head coach, he takes the training sessions, ultimately its down to him. I bet if Lamela was at Arsenal with Wenger he would be a lot more like the player we expected.

He wasn't?
He was injured, in and out, but he still produced good displays on a fairly regular basis. As long as he was played on the right hand side.

100% agreed. When Bale got injured he was our best player.

I give up. You're all mad.

Lennon us still our best right winger. Always has been. If you lot still can't see that then its obvious you're not watching football and more interested in who's your total fav babe. Its like fucking x factor round here at times.

I got my 1st glimpse of him against Utd. Unfortunately I turned it on as he was played in, and as he went to cross he fell over the ball and it went out for a goal kick lol

The irony of slagging off people for having favourites when your whole post reads like you are butt hurt because no one loves your favourite anymore.

Lol I actually saw him assist Lukaku after slagging him off... I still stand by the need for an improvement.

He's not, if i had to pick a spurs player to go out for a cheeky pint with he'd be very much near the bottom of the list. He comes off like a bit of cock to be honest, silly wanna be gansta from Leeds. Still... Who the fuck cares this is football and not WWE. He's our best right winger. I was hoping like everybody else that Lamela or Townsend or Chadli would be get better than him. But nobody has got close. Because at the end of the day for a team in our position with our funds Lennon was actually pretty all right, we could do better we could do worse... In fact we're doing worse now. We weakened our team by not playing him and then moving him on because he didn't fit in with the "philosophy" so now we're forced to persist with poorer players. Cool!
