Bale - 7 - had the flank to himself, ran himself ragged and sent in some good crosses and one great free-kick
Lennon - 6.5 - still not much enough end product but was our biggest threat until he was taken off
Jenas - 4.5 - lots of running but no quality
Zokora - 4.5 - the same as ever. Should not shoot.
Modric - 2 - woeful. Lost the ball continually and looked horribly off the pace

Campbell - 5 - average

Bent - 6 - a couple of good run and one excellent chance that he put just wide
Bentley - 7 - a bizarre choice for right-back but put in more good crosses in his first 10 minutes than the rest of the team had managed in the whole game. Then Lennon came off and it all ended
Dos Santos - 3 - looked totally lost

Losing at home to Hull is bad. But actually, for large parts of the game we played as well as we have done this season (not saying a lot). We penned Hull in and threw in cross after cross (how many corners did we have?!?) but rarely looked like scoring.

Only saw the second half we played good Bentley at right back was ok, its just our strikers just not clinical enough, second half Campbell and Bent looks like there were never more than 2 meters apart from each other not wanting to stretch the defence

Everyone else in the team played ok i liked the formation i just feel the strikers we have just arnt good enough. Both strikers just want to score unlike keane and berbs who wouldn't mind helping others to get a goal

There is no ref in the history of the game i despise more. He took a whole load of stick all week long for that bollox penalty he gave Manure last week, so naturally he's decided he's never giving another penalty again.

Just how shit does a ref have to be before the EPL sacks him for good??

Now that I have got that off my chest, let me just say, that i think we are in for a season long relegation fight, as if we didnt know it already.

Bit harsh on Pav, I think he will come good, havent seen enough of him yet and he has had no service, still shown a few glimpses of nearly being a decent player! Wont defend the other 3 though.

it's the first time Ramos sticked by his team with not to much changes, it was good team selection, so if you want to blame the board, blame them for selling Keane without replacement and it might be Berba too if Pavel failed to improve.

it was clear that today, the team lack of striking power, All of our strikers were poor & i can't see the point of paying that money for Corluka and selling Chimbonda, who looked better at CB or RB or LB, it might be he need time to develop ? I really don't know.

Gunter 6.5 -pleased of his decent runs, need to improve his crosses.
Corluka 5 - not good enough
Woodgate 6 - ok
Bale 7.5 - provide good crosses in first half and 3 good FK in match, but annoying 2nd half.
Zokora 7 - worked hard.
Jenas 7.5 - good game for JJ.
Modric 5.5 - needs more time, he didn't play a run of games yet. Remmber that !
Lennon 7 - good runs, but needs to imrpove his position when Bale made his crosses, he was siting behind the strikers !!
Pavyluchenko 3 - not good enough, but it might be he could score if he was there for all of these crosses by Bale & Bentley, needs time btw.
Campbell 0 - yes tired his best, did good job to make his man-marking with Bent, too many fauls more than our defenders, Ramos talked to him when Boateng treatment, latter in the game, i saw Juande shouting for strikers to make more space between them !!

Bentley 7.5 - played very good game. MOTM for me.
Bent 1 - sorry benty, i know you was unlucky not to score, but you need to be more effective with all of these chances, you need RK or Berbatov leadership for the attack, because

Ramos 8.5 - good team selection, tactics worked, even that 2-6-2 or 2-5-3 or 3-4-3 in second half. I was sad to see Lennon of, i was hoping for Campbell, but we can't ask for everything we would, it was good performance and i can't blame you for this defeat, you just needed playmaker like Arshavin for Pavel for more mins to finish off this game. Striker and may be the luck let you down. If someone blaming you, may be he thought you should use yourself as striker.

Gunter-5 Did ok...glad we played an actual full back in that position and not a midfielder
